    I'll buy all of that. What about Los Ticos though? They will be trying to win - their back is against it. But if Panama draws, and Costa Rica know they can hold that one point gap and take less risk at the start of this window, they might think about taking the foot off the gas. Which would then make things interesting from a Canadian perspective, vis-a-vis the USA-Mexico match a few minutes ahead of ours.

    Panama v Honduras kicks off an hour prior to Costa Rica v. Canada. Conceivably, just after half time, both teams could have a lot clearer picture of what's at stake. That's got to figure in the manager's strategy for the first half, no?

    I just managed to get two for sure - may have more if my CC statement is to be believed.

    I was able to get it to work by entering 000, then the number component of my passport #, then clicking in the right place in the filed and typing the letters after the 000s. Also make sure you have the "Tipo Cedula" set to "extranjero"....

    Looks like it should work - I just used my Cdn MC to buy a ticket to Municipal Liberia vs Garabito as a tester. It worked. Not the same stadium, but should the same ticketing infrastructure. If anyone wants a seat at Municipal Liberia vs. Garabito on Sunday, let me know. Kickoff is at 1300.

    Was just advised by SpecialTicket.net that pre-sales will only work with Scotiabank Costa Rica Cards.

    The ticket agency advises to try entering passport numbers preceded by 3 "0"s.... ie. 000XX#######

    Cedula is the identification card.......i have been inputting my name, as it won't accept a cdn passport number or a BC Drivers license number. I am on the line with specialticket.net now querying this.......they are a bit slow but seem helpful.......
