This looks pretty sound to me. I genuinely worry about Valour this season.
I do think Pacific could push Ottawa as Cup Champion though.

As far as next season goes, I would like to see the club try and build around the likes of de Brienne, Guti, Baquero, Yesli, Sanchez and Williams. I think Baquero should be retained for experience and versatility. Ohin should be given one last chance to see if he can stay healthy as I believe a healthy Ohin would be an ideal screen for the back 4. I would expect Chandler to be retained in order to be given a fair shot. Mzoughi would also be worth keeping around.
Haynes isn't up to scratch but I would be tempted to keep Cela, Pianelli and Samake around for next season. I would personally like to see Evan Barker brought in to challenge Yesli as he has had 2 solid seasons in the USL2 and has been in contention for goalkeeper of the year both times.
Baptiste needs to go as he has shown that he is prone to injuries and often seems off the pace (I know I said Ohin should be given one last chance, but a keeper needs a consistent defensive line). The attacking side needs an overhaul. Get rid of Novak, Siaj, Ponce and Selemani. Rendon needs to go, Ulloa isn't as good as they had hoped he would be.
Niyongabire could be given another season as Akio and Dyer took time to settle before they started finding the net.

You need to look at tying the likes of de Brienne and Guti down to longer contracts. Tie Yesli down as well and give him a regular back 4 (or 3 if you go wing backs).
Yesli needs a new contract. Tisseur can go, replace him with Barker who has been a standout for Manitoba over the last 2 seasons.
AJB, for all his strengths, is injured too frequently. Haynes has barely featured this season. Chandler has been unlucky getting injured so early on. Baquero should stick around as he is consistent. Pianelli and Samake have been consistent and Cela and Mzoughi look promising.
Guti needs to stay. He is a key figure in midfield. Polisi hasn't featured much due to injury. Campbell offers options and Sanchez started strong. Rendon and Ulloa have been absent when they have been on the pitch and, especially with Rendon, are probably eating up salary. Williams and Pacifique have had a good run so far, but Pacifique needs to keep his head up.
Siaj? No. Ponce? No. Novak? No. New guy? Can't comment.

Backline, relatively unchanged as I feel the only missing player is a ball winning midfielder to protect when de Brienne goes forward. Yesli has worked wonders with a permanently weakened backline in front of him.
Midfield, Guti is the creator, maybe Ohin as the ball winner and Sanchez as the runner? Williams and Pacifique out wide.
Attackers need an overhaul. Attardo could be an option, Reveco is another from FC Manitoba. With someone like Wero Diaz going to Vancouver, a decent striker is possible. It just needs the owners to put a little cash in and a manager to really sell his vision for the club.

I know it's not the same, but Thunder Bay Chill have a reserve/u17 side in one of the Winnipeg youth leagues (WYSA Premier League). Obviously, with all the other teams being based in Winnipeg, Thunder Bay used various fields as their 'home' ground ranging from Thunder Bay Chapples Park to Shaughnessy Park or Memorial Park. I would agree with your idea that they would play a Sask team in Winnipeg, more than likely at Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex.

I suppose, given that he is back in Winnipeg playing for FC Manitoba, he has more chance of Valour noticing him. Given that Valour were quick enough to get Barker on loan when Sirois was ineligible, it would make sense for them to have at least 1 eye on FCM. Can't be any worse than Siaj.

See, I have always seen the whole WFC/Bombers/Valour scenario as similar to the whole Rockstar/GTA/Red Dead scenario in the sense that the owners/developers favour the one that makes the most money and the other is usually left out.

Ok, I have a question. What sort of price do Valour tickets go for? As much as I hate to admit it, I have NEVER been to a game. Mainly because I am in the UK, but even so, I am looking to get over before the end of the season and I have my eye on a couple of games towards the end of the season (depending on time off work).

Please tell me the ones I have seen are wrong. I have seen the lineup in 2 different places (Google and FotMob) and both show Ponce as the RB.

On the flip side, former Valour defender Rocco Romeo has more red cards than the entire Valour team so far this season.
