Choosing Omiya Ardiya is a bit of a strange one because Urawa Red Diamonds are from Saitama City as well and have a huge support by J League standards but I guess Red Bull just throw enough money at clubs so that it works and Omiya is almost in Tokyo. Think it's safe to assume that if they wanted a CanPL team the league would bend over backwards to accomodate it but I suspect having an MLS team with NY branding and MLS being the most watched domestic pro soccer league in Canada makes it unlikely. 

Not the ending to that game FIFA probably would have wanted and shows the CWNT doesn't actually need drones to beat the top teams, which is what makes the whole thing so infuriating.

They should appeal, even if they get it down to three points.
In IOC issues the national committees always appeal, like in relays race sanctions or anything, you have to do it and not just roll over stupidly.
Sometimes in fact the harsh sanctions are given anticipating reducing them after an appeal.
Otherwise it's virtually impossible for us to get out of the group and it distorts the rest of group results unfavourably for all of them.

I understand there could be family considerations, and of course if the money is significantly better than elsewhere I can't begrudge him. But from a career perspective MLS would be a terrible move and would be detrimental to the CMNT. Like Bradley leaving Roma for TFC, followed by the US missing the next WC.
