It's an announcement that can hold its own against announcements from other leagues.  A lot of people seem to think that CPL announcements aren't as good as those from LMX or MLS but I think they're pretty close - certainly better than the announcements from most Central America leagues.

Very expensive if so, they'd need full VAR teams and have to increase no of cameras. I am for it, but wonder if they owners would accept it given the cost. 
I am not even sure any club is really upset about reffing that much to think it is worth it.

How about let's put our best XI on the field. Arfield is lightyears ahead of an out of form Kaye or Fraser. We have 4 or 5 players that are good enough to start a Champions League game. To think we are better off keeping one at home is insane. Eustaquio and Arfield are on a tier of their own in midfield.

If some inventive, and financed V, went rogue, they could just design and market an unofficial kit, a fan kit, and give a big, fat,  "fuk you" middle finger to the corporate, meta data, drones, over at MotherCorp Fuksville HQ by marketing said fan kit to, you know, the fans.  The ones going to Qatar and staying at home to watch. 
Buy the corporate kit or buy the fan kit.  Do it right and I pretty sure I know which would make more of an impact and probably create something of a world wide media stir.  The press are always looking for something interesting to talk about and a "rebel kit" worn by Canada supports, well, that's kinda interesting no? 
Of course it would have to be something totally the opposite of the current Nike kit.  Well, maybe not the opposite of, but distinct enough from that there'd be no mistaking which one was which.
