Anyone see any word from Marsch why Sigur didn't play? I was confused when Saliba came in instead of him

We all pooped on Biello for his coaching during the Jamaica home game and his RIP memorial for Hoillet, Borjan and Vitoria. But it is so obvious that he does a great job with all these young players. He really has been an unsung hero during this run.

100% agree with this. Kerr is barely holding on to his MLS position. Has been left on the bench multiple times this year. Afrifa has carved out a position for himself with KC.

I watched most of it. Did not understand any of the commentary. But I did hear Canadian a bunch of times. The quality of the telecast was fantastic while streamed from youtube to my tv. I was amazed at the quality of the telecast for a low level random game free on youtube. Announcer and color commentary, probably 5 or 6 camera angles. Huge visual step up from trying to watch him in the French National League last year. He looks bigger than most of his teammates. New position as a midfielder after playing as a CB last year. Pretty well plays like a defensive midfielder. Most of his passes are very safe passes (alot moving backwards). He is very aware defensively. Broke up multiple attacks. Received a yellow card for a dumb tackle just outside the box. He is very aggressive defensively trying to breakup plays. Expected him to be subbed off cause of the yellow and his aggressive plays but he wasn't. He was very solid. This is a good level for him. I still think he has a chance of eventually being a CMNT member but he has a long way to go. Can't believe Saliba is younger than him and already on the team

In his defense, Auxierre received a red just before half. Probably a defensive change to try to get a point. But he only had 7 pass attempts and 10 touches in the first half. Has to get more involved somehow

Love the call ups. Afrifa and Saliba. Marsch seems willing to call in young newer players and see what they have in camp. If they are willing to get provincially captied early in their careers, you take it. Herdman has his 21 out of 23 always the same. You wonder if people like Aidan Morris and Mitrovic would of not slipped though the cracks.
