What a f****** result. What heart. Should we be favourites vs Colombia?

Not just physically gassed with 1 less day of rest, but emotionally gassed too from their heartbreak + their post game donnybrook. I hope we can take advantage.

Not surprising based on their populations but looks like crowd is > 90% Colombian. If we face Uruguay it might be the least intimidating atmosphere of all our games. BTW, should be close to the same weather as the semifinal. Night time but hot and humid, around 30 degrees.

The Jays don't start their game until what will be late in the 2nd half of our game. Big ratings and $ indeed.

Reposting this because of the importance and bonus of this win. The momentum and buzz on the team has got to be absolutely massive now. Wonder if the TV ratings on Tuesday challenge or surpass anything from Qatar. Hope TSN sends a crew and Luke & Steven to Metlife for the semifinals like they did with the opening match. My biggest thing.. this group is moving past "moral victories" and "good performances with no result". We really are breaking through so many glass ceilings this tournament. 📈 Thrilled.

Saw the Argentina bus came in last night around 9 PM. Masses of their fans chanting "Messi Messi". Unbelievable passion. About 5 mins earlier I saw Atiba Hutchinson and Paul Stalteri walking by the growing crowd. I recognized them and said "Atiba, Paul! Go Canada!", they gave me a thumbs up and wave on the way by.

Count me in for 2 for the pre-game in Atlanta.. attending with my dad, first national team game outside of Canada for us. 😃

Any chance of scheduling a couple friendlies against the Cayman Islands on Thursday right before the draw to gain a few extra rating points? 🤣 I kid obviously, but I remember a few years ago before the reformatting of the hex -> octo that we were considering how to schedule opponents so we could pass El Salvador in ranking points and qualify to the hex as the 6th ranked CONCACAF team. What a few years.

Wind will be funneling in from the NW, that is toward the V's end (not off the lake). Don't know how much that affects things but definite advantage to who attacks to the V's end. Dress warm and wear gloves, all. Better more layers than less.
