The game against Jamaica was the first Canada game in Toronto in almost a decade I think.

No way that happens again. 

All games will go to 2026 Host cities.

I'm not sure how people think the CSA can keep visiting fans out of the stadium. They have a section in the north east side of the stadium, but how could they stop a Canadian/Canadian resident from buying a ticket to the game and putting on a visiting team shirt? Deny them entry to the stadium when they see what colours the person is dressed in and the section listed on their ticket? Some people mentioned to relocate them, how would that work exactly? If there are a couple thousand fans sprinkled throughout the stadium, are you going to send them to the other side of the stadium, where they will have to displace a Canadian fan from the seat they bought, what if that person doesn't want to change seats? What if this relocation was happening when the game was already started, or about to start? I wouldn't want to spend 5 or 10 minutes after getting booted out of the seat I chose, to go to a seat on the other side of the stadium, where maybe there is someone else saying they were told to go to my newly assigned seat, neither of us have the seat number on our tickets, all while we are missing the game. It's just not in any way feasible.
The best we can do is to get a bigger and bigger fan base. Fans that are buying tickets to Canada vs Honduras as well as Canada vs El Salvador, and Canada vs Jamaica, etc, get in pre-sales. If there are enough such people, the majority of the tickets get sold to Canadian fans before the visitors have their chance to buy tickets. Even in that kind of scenario, you won't be able to keep them all out.

I think its safe to say again that the average Canadian had zero clue about these when ticket sales went up. The average ES fan in Ontario has probably had the date circled since it was announced. If the tickets had all gone on sale on Sunday after the US game as opposed to a month ago, I think we'd see more Red then we will tonight because more people know now. It's not ideal, but at the end of the day it still shows the importance of bringing the average Canadian onto the bandwagon and build the support each game

It’s gonna be 40% El Salvador fans, you watch. They were the ones who bought almost half the tickets before the Honduras game. The rest were people realizing Canada was playing, and wanting tickets.

A member of the Vs Kyle who lives in Nashville and organized the pre-game bar took these pics of the pregame gathering, march and in the stadium. while it was not the biggest group of Canadian supporters to attend an away game their voices were heard. I haven’t read through what I’ve missed in this thread, but I am going to say this:
I find it hilarious that the fans/media of a top 10 FIFA nation are crying out that the USMNT was severely out coached on Sunday, yet here we are still trying to set (unrealistic) tolerances on when to pull the trigger on the firing of Herdman. Can we please for the love of god just put this to rest a bit and accept the fact that he’s done a pretty fuckin decent job so far? This is starting to get a little cringe from some of you.
I’m willing to bet the same lot of guys consistently hating on Herdman would have praised the CSA for hiring Berhalter himself years ago, and look where that would’ve got us, eh??

We seem to be embracing CONCACAF. It might be controversial to some on this board (I haven't seen anyone mention it, but I wasn't on the game thread) but I thought it was hilarious when Borjan had a seemingly planned injury out of nothing. Instantly the entire team was at the sideline talking to Herdman and getting hydrated.

It was very much the same playing AAU basketball in the states when I was younger. Until more recently with Canadians starting to improve on the NBA levels, people would look at Canadian AAU programs as walkovers. Was the best feeling putting those kinda attitudes to sleep 

I played and coached for some years in the US and this is exactly true.  They truly believe they are the greatest in everything (not just sport & soccer).  It's actually quite embarrassing to hold conversations with them about their teams and soccer in general.  One thing I have noticed as well is that high level soccer players in the US (NCAA and low level professionals) surprisingly lack knowledge of the game in general and many do not even pay attention to world football at all.  The same levelled players from Canada are quite opposite from everything I have learned over the years.
