I fucking love this team. My life is complete.

If anyone was watching the ESPN2 feed of the match, they mentioned something regarding TSN and Sportsnet declining the option to show the game tonight. If that is true, both broadcastors should be embarrassed. Twenty years ago when each only had one tv channel and no ability to stream games on their websites maybe you could give them a pass but considering TSN showed multiple Euro qualifying games on their channels and website today, they should have put on this game. It's sad how TSN bends over to show MLS games (including some without Canadian teams) but can't support the MNT.
 

If this is the turn out then then next couple games need to not be in Toronto. Embarassing.

Two  things about playing Davies at LB:
Our 11 is more talented and have a higher soccer IQ with Davies at LB, even though we might not be stronger defensively or offensively.  I feel we’ll still be a better team and harder to break down.
If Bayern f’in Munich thinks he can play LB, who are we to question that?
 
That being said, I still prefer a 3-4-3.

My second option is a 4-3-3 with Davies at LB.  We will get destroyed with either Cordova, Miller or Adekugbe at LB.  
Cordova - not enough experience playing with Cornelius and Vitoria at the center of D.
Miller - talented, intelligent, but too young and inexperienced to play vs their wingers.
Adekugbe - Just not good enough vs the US.

I'd love to bring the game to them with our traditional 4-3-3, but there is just too much at stake right now.  I believe this gives us our best shot at a result.

Based on Herdman's interview we will be setting up fairly defensive with the objection not to concede and our stacked talent hopefully bag some goals. Also, if we do grab an early lead, strong defensive shape should help us hold the lead, unlike what happened vs Haiti.
As much as I want to see us attack like crazy, I see his point, let's hope he gets it right. 
I'm wondering, if it's something like Mexico would it be a type of 3-4-3? Which is still fine to attack but can also transition nicely to 5 at the back on defense.
If he does I think he would go Miller, Vitoria, Cornelius in a back 3? Maybe Davies as LM/LWB and Kaye or Lareya as the RM/RWB. Kaye has played RM all year so would be up to the task but Lareya positionally might be better suited. 
Interesting discussion none the less, I thought for sure it would be some type of 4-3-3 hybrid. However we did hold Mexico scoreless for 40 mins until we were down to 10 men (Cornelius was being treated for a bloody nose on the sidelines).
Man so pumped for this game.

I choose to remain positive (or am a bit masochistic) because I enjoy watching this.  Maybe part of it is Frank and Chelsea struggling even a little.  
But I take not ruling us out a good sign and a goodish for us/bad sign from an England perspective is his club record so far. 
Chelsea have no clean sheets including the 4 full games he has played.  In the league, they have the 3rd worst goals against. Half of the games were before he began starting but it is still 2 goals in every game after.  
Real quick, I count 13 English centre backs that are under 30, have played as much or more than Tomori, and whose team do not give up 2 goals a game.  5 of the 13 are from teams that are ahead of Chelsea on points.  The 13 includes 4 of the 6 recent England call-ups. 

At this point and the way both teams are playing, I don't think Curacao beating Costa Rica is an upset.  I'm pretty sure they're the better team at the moment.

Belgium along side David & Larin sounds just about perfect.

Some teams in MLS have really good starting XI...however, the main reason why I haven't fully bought in the hype is that they are 1 or 2 injuries away for a drastic drop in quality.
Montreal without Piatti or Piette was atrocious. We remember TFC when they lose 1 or 2 DPs. Vancouver not replacing Davies and I could go on. That's why I die laughing when some die hard claims a top MLS team would qualify to the UEFA Champions League. It takes roster depth to do that which is why they still can't win CCL. Liga MX teams have more depth and can perform at a similar level when they have injuries and red cards, not MLS.

All I know is we have to win our home game and then play our best defensive team in our away match (going for at least a tie). GO CANADA GO.

Gotta get at least 4 from the USA and knock them out the old fashion way.
To be the best you have to beat the best.
They have more depth than us, but aside from their one special player we can match them man-for-man. You can only play 3 subs in a match, so their superior depth counts for little. Any of our subs will be as talented as theirs. It's going to be about who wants it more.
Despite their insistence on possession football, they are not Spain. They are not even Mexico. El Tri pressed them, we would be wise to do the same.
