Kamal seems like a good dude - genuine and willing to do whatever he needs to for the team.  But I don’t think he is close to the other two in terms of quality - and that gap should continue to widen with the other two now in Ligue 1.  I also hope the prospects quickly exceed the level he is playing at.  He can be solid but he seems pretty slow and I find his ball-playing to be pretty erratic.   
Not trying to be a 🍆. I have just never loved his play.

The defender has two people to worrying about and tries to stay in between, then puts pressure when the shot's happening and the angles have narrowed. 
Good play by Koleosho who keeps his nerve to put it it through his legs, thereby unsighting the keeper, who can't do much when he has no idea which direction the ball is going initially.

I have you blocked, but just a thought: you are closer to being phased out of this board than Oso out of the national team.

Pretty accurate assessment.  "Ok" is a bit of a stretch for me.  More minutes and less touches than everyone else on the pitch (again), that's just not good enough for me.  Even Larin alone up top had 24 in 77' to Osorio's 25 in 90.  He's just not closing things down or cutting the lanes.
 
We can compare him to who ever we want and it won't change the fact, he just doesn't have the stamina or the quickness for our midfield.  Our midfield had everything under control while Stache and Choiniere were bossing it, the minute Osorio dropped back to replace Choiniere the battle was lost.  The entire field slanted towards DSC.
It hurts, we all love the guy, but we gotta call it like it is.  He can still contribute to a slow game where we need to control things, but things are moving too fast for him vs high level opponents.

First time posting here, so please be gentle :).  I think its pretty incredible the change in our center back situation over the last couple of years.  This has been a major liability for the team - now its almost a point of strength.   The development of Bombito and Cornelius over the last couple of years is remarkable, and the program is much better for it.  Just my thoughts.

Yes agreed. When Mexico was trying the long balls the other night, it seemed like they were relying on film from the 2022 Bahrain or Belgium game; of Kamal or Vittoria getting burned over top. Our new and improved backline is the story of 2024 (+Marsch+ KBlue). I'm optimistic that Cyle regains his form, Tani emerges as a threat, or JRR steps in and lights it up. If Junior was healthy this summer, maybe we would have had 1-2 goals off set pieces. Exciting times ahead. 

Completely agree. Kone scored vs Uruguay and that was our only goal in the Marsch era not scored by Shaff or David (!). That’s a big problem in general.
 
Outside of corner kicks, Bombito and Davies are allowing us to push numbers forward but we’re not seeing any production from the supporting cast. 
 
It’s really the most bizarre thing to think that we play quite aggressively and we’ve always been a team that scored goals (even before this style) and struggled defensively; yet now the goals have dried up and our defence is solidified. A lot of that is down to Cornelius, Bombito and Davies being on the backline because we would be getting murdered if we had our 2022 backline. Or is the best defence a mediocre offence? 😉
Imagine we could combine the set piece prowess of 2000 with the goal scoring of 2021 and defence of 2024. Then we’d be laughing.
