I suspect if Tomori had to choose now our odds would be much better. We were still scrubs when England cap tied him.

The great part about the emergence of guys like JRR and Tani is that we aren’t in desperate need of a striker.  Don’t get me wrong - I definitely want Jebbo to choose Canada and to become a potentially important piece in our striking equation.   But I don’t feel that his loss would be a blow to the program (I felt this way about Tomori).

With the way Comnebol decides things, I expect to see them award Uruguay with the Fair Play Award once the tourney ends after this incident.

I wouldn't mind playing our other guys like Choiniere, LDF, Piette, Tani, etc in this game especially for 3rd place

Definitely down with him getting minutes. Starting would be quite the statement and pressure. 
I hope the likes of Bair and JRR get similar treatment to follow Ahmed and Choiniere.

Tv numbers took a sizeable jump as 2.8m average watched across TSN/CTV2/RDS. 
No peak number mentioned which implies not too far away from 2.8m. Reach hit 6.9m.
RDS average was 230k which is also a new Copa high. France v Spain on TVA Sports delivered 135k.
Belgium & Croatia remain most watched Canada men/women matches. Last night's match looks to be fourth most watched men/women match. London Olympics women semis is third most watched while Tokyo Gold Medal match ranks fifth.

Well, every nation on earth has at one time taken a dual nat.  It’s an accepted part of international football.  If a player with a Canadian mom can help us grow and make us better I see no issue with that…Canada is a country of immigrants and if you come here at 6 or 19 I don’t care.

I’ll take anyone with talent,  don’t care where they grew up.
