One of those matches where the half time whistle is your enemy.   You just want to keep going, and going, and ...

This guy was an absolute stud tonight. Love to see it. Another one that's looking like Europe beckons. Hope he maintains this form with the whitecaps.
His composure and ease on the ball and under pressure is magnificent, much like Kone. Ali is so smooth.

Honestly, I’d rather he play 2500+ minutes in League 1, than risk sitting on the bench in the Championship this coming season…

Piette being phased out.   Too many young midfielders in the mix now.

A few thought that we would go 0-5 after the 2 friendlies and 3 Copa  group games. Given the teams we were facing and how we have played since the WC that prediction didnt seem unreasonable. When you throw in the refs, heat and that every game was an away game, the results have been outstanding. I noticed that the Uruguayan and neutral fans were applauding our players after the game. Thats respect.

    Canada found their GK
Bombito and Cornelius solidified the back end
    Kone stepped up his game
    Shaf became a starter
We added depth all over the field
    $8M added to the coffers
Coach was dropped in two months ago and got these players to gel and play better each game
We played Holland France Argentina twice Chile Peru Venezuela and Uruguay
Bigger picture here. Complete success towards 2026.

What I found to be refreshing was Marsch's willingness to switch things up and reward players with minutes for good performances / training sessions.
For example, he calls Olu in and drops Brym, making you think Tani would be a bubble guy. Instead, he ends up being the first striker off the bench. Granted, Tani should have done much better with his chances, but it's this sort of open-mindedness that I really appreciate.
To be totally frank, I thought the wholesale changes yesterday would cost us, but instead, they proved to be excellent decisions.
Overall, our finishing needs to be way better, we did get lucky at times in this tourney, but the results and semi-surprising individual top-class performances of Shaf, Crepeau, Bombito, etc., were really encouraging to witness.
Great to see guys like Ahmed, Choiniere and LDF also doing well.

Spot on. Best month we’ve ever had for the men.
Complete buy-in too. No players magically turning up injured before the 3rd place game and flying back to Europe.

Many people posted that he’s just some prospect who is our 26th ish player. Not here on merit. I think his performance proves that he is now our 2nd choice at rcb after bombito.

Where does everyone else rate him in our depth chart?

I thought he looked nervous early but after that great stop on Nunez in the box, playing on a yellow, he was very strong and composed. I’d like to see more but to step in like he did and perform was very impressive. Our back line looks very good going forward

And a HUGE thanks to you for everything you did getting tickets organized under the circumstances. The communication, efficiency and organization is nowhere without you Al, which I can only imagine was very difficult to pull off repeatedly over the last 6 weeks or so.  Again, thank you so much!

The invites always have an economic element. Qatar bought their way in through a sham sponsorship deal. TBF they did the same with the Gold Cup.
Japan is a favourite due to the TV contract and sponsorship.
We don't tick these boxes unfortunately. We do have political muscle with Victor
