Corazon reacted to dyslexic nam in Friendly match: Canada vs Mexico - Tuesday, September 10th - 8:30pm Eastern / 5:30pm Pacific - Arlington, Texas
Decent rotation. Millar gets a start with Shaff gone. Richie in place of Alistair due to injury. Oso shifting us into a 4-5-1 with 3 in central midfield. Biggest change is giving St Clair the start and giving David a night off. Good to try it all out and I assume David is fine with an evening off. I would love to see a couple of Sigur, Afrifa and/or Saliba get some minutes, and it would be nice to see Adekugbe get back on the field.

I believe Elye Wahi has also had some very bad controversies as well. I would bet that is who @InglewoodJack is referring to.
It's also never a good look when Neal Maupay is NOT the most controversial member of your team. I believe Amine Harit may have some as well.

David Gass was on point that this is the lowest point for their program in 5 years. How they can brush this off after getting grouped at COPA and showing no desire to bounce back. Getting dominated at home in front of a garbage crowd. It's just straight up denial.

You aren't wrong but I'm more interested in his output than whether he accompanies it by drama. The only downside to the drama is that he picks up so many yellow cards that he misses two or three games a season with accumulation.

Game day poutine tradition restored! My favorite (only) poutine place in Silicon Valley shut down shortly after 22 WCQ. But I happen to be in Orlando this week for vacation, and stumbled upon ‘The Daily Poutine’.

Maybe draw players from their MLS Next Pro sides that Marsch has identified as having potential? Who knows, but I'm glad he's looking to get creative in what would otherwise be a super underwhelming window.

Man the fallout from the americans is sad. So many of them cant seem to acknowledge that Canada had some role in the defeat. They dont want to look at it objectively and admit, we were #1 in qualifying (maybe a fluke) and more recently we out performed them at the COPA. They cant just expect their pre-ordained home field advantage will give them the win no matter what. They actually need to have their shit together and cant just pencil in a win everytime CAN comes to town.

He definitely seems like he should be playing a higher level. If him and Rose keep playing the way they are, they could follow in Promise David’s footsteps.

That would be disappointing. He's been playing very well this year. Now, if Insigne were to leave...

Not that I'm saying I dislike this idea but the window runs from October 7-15 and the CPL season runs until the 19th. I can't imagine the CPL would want to interrupt their season like this, although crazier things have happened for the sake of exposure.
I do agree that it should be at a CPL venue, although I'm hesitant on sending CMNT players to get dressed in shipping containers in Halifax, despite CWNT being subjected to that. I'll welcome a match in Ottawa - both Atletico and REDBLACKS are away that week, although the Panda Game is the 6th.

Bernardeschi is easier to move. He makes way less and is performing well.
I think they are stuck with Insigne. He makes too much. Although I am predicting he leaves after the 2025 season ends. By that time he would have accrued so much money (way more than he was ever going to get in Europe) and it will no longer be worth the hassle.

I think they have to move on from both of the Italians.
You can't recruit just on money with certain players, they have to want to be here, and have respect for the MLS product.

Seems like we've gotten to the point where there's a few CPL players playing every international break now. That's nice!
