    Here is an interview that Jason Hernandez gave explaining TFC's salary issues for this year and next. What blew my mind was the $500,000 payment to pay for Kemar Lawrence's transfer fee.

    Why does it take 4 days for TFC to announce things? When you look at other clubs, they usually make the announcements pretty much immediately.

    At least with CFM, JMR will have a chance to earn his minutes based on merit. At TFC, Herdman seems to be obligated to play Insigne and Bernadeschi. I will be really interested to see how he meshes with midfield there.

    Yes, you still can. Due to him hiring Bob Bradley and allowing him to sign all those silly contracts, JMR was the only tradeable player on the team for this year.

    The fact that JMR wanted to move shows me that he wanted to get out of his comfort zone. He basically grew up in the TFC ecosystem, and was always close to home and not challenged by dealing with things outside of soccer. In a sense, it is like him going off to university for the first time. The move is a good preparation for getting ready for a move to big and better things.

    After the JMR news, I wonder if there will be more news trickling in about other moves that they managed to sneak in under the deadline.

    I do not see how Herdman will get fired because of the scandal. He no longer works for the CSA and I do not think he has done anything that is a cause for dismissal while he has been at MLSE. I get people want to punish him, but he is no longer a CSA employee.

    Based on what Fifa done with Priestman , the worse that can happen to the Cmnt seems to be a fine and Herdman banned from coaching Fifa sponsored events.

    I think Herdman took almost everyone with him to TFC.

    At least he is consistent, reporting stuff on both the men and women's sides.

    All the other nations likely are engaged in similar shenanigans, as we see when the Herdman said they prefer to stay in Canada until the very last minute before going down to the Concacaff nations. Otherwise they would be spied upon down there. Unfortunately Canada is stupid enough to get caught.
