Pacific best half of football in a long time was the second half of the caps game should start that line up but I doubt that Merriman will

Pacific will always struggle to score goals in the system that they are playing, to many midfielders that play backwards, and this is from the coaching and how they play. Need to change they way they play and put actual wingers on to help drive forward

Last year Manny bailed Pacific out, never went out and got a midfielder that actual plays the ball forward and the system that play does not suit the forwards that he has now

If Pacific do not get a result today is Merriman on the hot seat? coaching change has done wonders for York, Pacific has a bunch of good players Merriman has not got the best out of them

Pacific has a signing tomorrow, lets hope it is a midfielder that actually plays a ball forward !! if it is another forward or defender they have lost the plot

Pacific need to stop giving the ball away in the midfield and look to go forward more often, goal comes from a great run from Zanatta to create space and Balhos driving forward and taking the shot

When does Pacific look to make a coaching change Merriman has had good players and has good players but does not get them to gel and play forward

Goals change games, Zanatta puts in a perfect cross and Reon and not sure who the other player was who was open and Reon misses a sitter, they go down and score, if Pacific score that one they tie or even win the game. Josh had a sitter in the first half and did not even hit the net.

Zanatta and Heard did a good job when the ball is played into them but Pacific rarely play forward quickly never stretch the pitch you have both Heard and Zanatta who love to run the channels, the left sided CB for Calgary is not quick of foot and I do not remember playing into the channel on his side, Pacific allow teams to get set up defensively and try to pass it into the goal, their goal on Sat was off a turn over that was quickly played wide and first time cross and great header, Pacific is very slow in transition

In the last two games Pacific have given up three goals all being caught playing out from the back, midfielders trying to beat some one or getting caught taking to many touches, they need to play forward instead of sideways and backwards so much, they are two slow going forward. need to change it up at times

It will be interesting to see what Pacific does with their line up after the week they have had, if they rotate a bunch of players it could spell trouble

Thought Pacific played a very good road game on a short week with the travel involved and that Ottawa was void of ideas on how to break them down, Pacific seems to have more joy attacking down the left was a bit surprised that they took out Zanatta when they did

Merriman got this all wrong, could have started his strongest group and then rested players
