Are you saying Rommel Fernandez is an upgrade on our stadiums? I’d beg to differ. Even having been at Costa Rica’s stadium Thursday, which is considered the most modern in Central America, it’s not nearly as nice as BMO.

I'm just not sure that "No fair! If they had only stuck to the format which excluded the best team from being able to participate in the tournament, we would have qualified!" is a particularly persuasive argument....

This thread seems so surreal.  Last year, we were crapping ourselves about Suriname and the danger they posed.  And now we aren’t even bothered by getting The Netherlands in the World Cup. Talking about extremes.

You’re right but we didn’t need possession in their half. We could keep the ball all day between our midfield 3 and back 5. We had spells of possession where our Canada section was actually starting the ole chant. Laryea and Buchanan were getting space down the wings and a goal was coming. If they didn’t score before the half we would have won that game.
