We've won 11 games we were expected to win. We've lost 2 games we were expected to lose. We overperformed in 1 game, and underperformed in 1 game. Then there was also the loss to Iceland, which I hardly remember even happened. I don't know who was expected to win that game, probably no obvious favourite and it was just a friendly anyways. Outsized rage at the "lack of results".

No idea about Larin or any of the other Euro-based players. If Ligue 1 & 2 can pull an arbitrary stunt like this with FIFA's blessing, no reason why any other specific Euro-based club can't do the same. They've opened the floodgates for it by permitting this. And if we aren't able to get any of Davies, Larin, Eustaquio etc in addition to David, it will mean that we threw away our home field advantage to field a 2nd string squad, which gets back to the integrity of the competition. But I guess we'll see what will happen

One of the guys on the panel commented "Did you see that starting 11, How did this group lose to that starting 11" and  "You have guys on that team that aren't even signed". How can you be on that panel and be that ignorant? That is why they are so shell-shocked, because they are completely unaware of any other team. That is part of the reason they keep losing.

I was going to point out that in that Panama vs Bermuda game Panama lost both halves... at home... to Bermuda.
In John Herdman's tenure with the CMNT so far the team has won 15 halves, tied 2 (in a pair of 1-0 wins), and only lost 3 (2 to Mexico, who you know, won the whole Gold Cup, and 1 to Haiti). And just a further point, by results, Mexico, Haiti, and Costa Rica were the 3 best teams in the Gold Cup.
Yes we should have been able to hold on against Haiti, but we are talking about one bad half of soccer, and all of the positive stuff doesn't count at all? Since we were talking about any other FA earlier. In what other country would the fan base be talking about firing the manager the day or two after the largest home victory in it's history?
