The Turkish League is well below the Premier League but is Besiktas well below West Ham?  I'd say no, probably around the same calibre of team with internationals from Germany, Turkey, Portugal, Austria, Serbia, Ukraine and Argentina.
I know some disagree but I'm confident Hutchinson would win a starting spot somewhere on the pitch.  Having watched him at Besiktas against bigger clubs like Tottenham and Arsenal he is quality.

Aside from Floro, you mean.  Which, if you take a look at any thread from the last two years that mentions Osorio, Floro doesn't know how to rate talent.
    So confused.

I dont think calling the youngsters needs to interfere with qualifying.  Leave Bekker and Osorio at home, call Tomori and Bustos.  Chances are none of them will play, but at least they might be a bit more prepared next time the call comes.  Look at James, he did a nice job for us, but I never thought he would see the pitch.  He was in 2-3 camps before he actually saw the field.  He was a bit more prepared to make his debut.  Call a couple youngsters for this upcoming friendlies and the next round, It will pay off if we can reach the HEX.

Getting him involved with our national team youth camps has been a great strategy. If he ends up playing for another country down the road, at least we tried our best.

The pitbull just needs to score a goal for us in March vs Mexico.
Mexico's national team is respected in the majority parts of the world.
Scoring a goal in a World Cup qualifier vs Mexico is a very good notch on the CV. Will and can go a long way in landing an opportunity for a club career in Spain or elsewhere.

He's played on the right flank this season (also the left... and in the middle). Versatile.

    ----------------------Larin---------------
    Hoilett--Hutchinson--Johnson--Arfield
    ------------------De Guzman------------
    De Jong----Edgar----Jakovic---Ledgerwood
    --------------------Borjan----------------

I think this, or whatever variation of it, is the best Canadian line-up I have seen as a V (2010).

Ya cause, Tim Howard(now Guzan), Bradley, Zardes, Yedlin and Altidore all got that German connection? German B is a stretch but I see where you are coming from.  The Americans put forth who they felt were the best citizens available why should Canada do anything different.
My wife wasn't even born here and considers herself Canadian compared to her country of birth. I was born in Canada but my mom was not, I have ties to both countries because of that.
That  young Chilean kid was born in Canada to Chilean parents then grew up in Chile, he considers himself more Chilean but I am sure he has some Canadian ties.  Arfield considers himself Scottish, but with his dad being born in Canada I am sure he has ties/connection to Canada as well.
If you can't accept Canada as a multicultural melting pot, I am sorry, we support our countries in different ways. At the end of the day Immigration Canada gave him a Canadian passport.  Take that up with the government, if you don't feel he "isn't Canadian enough for you".

I didn't say better - I said arguably better which I stand by. I don't think playing at PSV is any more impressive than being a starter in the BPL for a full season. The FIFA game rankings are what they are, but I wouldn't take too much from those.

i like that strategy. Start larin in van city. Bring cavillani off the bench. If larin doesnt pot a goal then start cavillani in el salvador and bring larin in off the bench.
Both are assets. Both need to see playing time.

I will be happy to see Larin start and I will be happy to see Cavallini start. Both are great options.
Larin does have more experience at this level despite being younger by almost 3 years. Larin also has more familiarity with the team and how Floro wants to play.
Because Cavallini plays his club ball in South America, it might be a good idea to give him the start down in El Salvador. He has played in those conditions before with us, albeit 3 years ago.
An ways,  go Lucas and go Cyle. We can get the job done with two solid strikers in good form!
