I'm pleased and impressed as well. I just love how these guys are getting out there and showing such mentality, such drive, to improve their careers. 
Yes, we could argue that TFC and Forest are similar, but this puts him into the English market, where there is a lot of movement. He also should be making more money. 
But the real question I have: how long before Richie sees his first red card in the Championship?

I agree with this. He’ll improve more in the championship and maybe he ends up at a higher level, the man wanted a move to Europe and got it and this opens up the spot for Kobe Franklin.

A short story of the last 9 years ….
9 years ago TODAY Liam and I stepped off the plane in London on this crazy journey. Liam began a 6 week trial at Fulham FC Jan 6th 2013 and after 5 days signed a 3 year contract. He was the first player in 18 months of trials to sign( 31 players had been on trial in that time at Fulham prior to his arrival) 
He spent the next 3 years lighting up south London winning two National Premier League Youth Championships scoring 65 goals in his U16 year leading the entire UK cat 1 scoring. That lead him to a England U16 call up which he turned down (people forget he was a dual national…)
instead opting to go to the Montague tournament at14(turning 15) with Canada’s U16 team coached by Sean Fleming…
He made a move to Liverpool FC at 16 signing a scholarship followed by a pro contract a few weeks later. He scored a Hatrick on his debut vs Blackburn Rovers!! 

He played for LFC U18s u19 UEFA youth league and Captained the U23s before going on Three loans before finally moving to FC Basel this year where he has 7 goals and 3 assists in 27 games …
And I believe the best is yet to come…

The game was different. The whole concept of players approaching their national team career like a free agent choosing a club team (i.e. what's best for me/my career) was a lot more frowned upon.
I think players of the same era that could've played for other nations but chose Canada might have a different opinion.
The counterfactual is impossible to know, but I also think that having a player like Hardgreaves could very likely have catalyzed the CSA to professionalize sooner.
If Hardgreaves wanted to he could've been the Milos Raonic of Canadian soccer. Instead, IMO, he chose a more selfish path.

Personally I’m in favour of a technological solution of some kind … but I’m not sure what that entails either. 
 
I tried to help on the megaphone until I lost my voice. But I couldn’t hear much and I was only 14 rows up. 
 
Although it was disjointed, I really appreciate people in other areas (higher up or over in section N) starting some things spontaneously. Although it may have interfered with coordination, it kept the energy going and introduced some new things.
It’s not just an issue at Commonwealth. It’s hard to coordinate in BMO and BC Place. Sound just seems to disappear. 

Agreed, I was in row 25 in O, two different chants going on at the same time. Don't think Commonwealth is designed with acoustics in mind 😄

Idk if anyone else has posted this but I was about 15 rows up from the front and I couldn’t hear the guy with the loudspeaker at all. Was there a problem with it or something or is my hearing just bad. Entertaining game overall can’t wait for Mexico.

But SEVEN up on fifth is an unbelievable buffer to have going into the 2nd set of games!
