One thing I find odd is that clearly Sigma is doing great work and have many players come through the ranks and turn pro yet the CSA at no point is like "hey maybe we should scout the club and see the players"

Rough take.... this is not finalized yet.
The ticketing for the Jamaica game will be done with codes, so no hunger games situation.
2 Ticket limit
We are considering breaking the membership into groups, based roughly on join times around the games. These groups will have long windows to buy tickets. The time frame will not matter since it is a code situation and not a link/pw. This extra time will allow people to 'explore alternative pre sale options......' and not have to chose one path or the other.
The windows to buy tickets will be long, but again, does not matter because it will be fixed single use codes.
We still think there is a really good chance most people will get tickets. However, it is hard to say what the uptake will be with people coming from out of town.
We have a potential 1 to 1 ticket solution in the future, that will allow grouping of up to 9 people, but that was not possible to implement this game.

when has a Canadian wonder kid ever had their number one goal as breaking into the CANMNT. I can’t be the only one that finds the humour in this. Just another sign of the times that this program is different.

In terms of level of play and career progression, I think this move makes sense. Can PL grads aren’t tearing it up outside the league just yet. The step up to MLS is probably significant and this is a foot in the door. Low risk for both clubs. Like when an upper tier club snaps up a lower tier talent and they start that player off in the reserves or B squad.

I like the move, the kid is good and taking a chance on himself for shot at the MLS.
If Crew 2 was the best option for Farsi (a top end cpl talent), this to me is a strong indicator of how the CPL is currently viewed by European leagues and the level of interested clubs (if any).
