Bikerack reacted to shermanator in Ballou Tabla
Every time I want to start posting more on these forums again, I just see a new set of trolls here. Cripes.

We have kids in great youth teams all the time. We have some at Juventus/Liverpool. This is also the only time I'll ever respond to you. You're a very strange man. And that's coming from me.

Bikerack reacted to apbsmith in Lucas Cavallini
Sometimes ppl on this board confuse, not trying to make this a personal attack, but was the last 5 posts an actual discussion?
Guy just signs a 4 year deal with a club in LIGA MX with a club he's been bossing it up, up front.......and we are talking about where he should transfer??? ? ?
Let's encourage and support the man, hope he continues to shine/improve/bag goals, and accepts the call when it comes.
That is all. Period.

Really good move imo
not sure on the level difference between Denmark and Hungary because I don’t watch enough of either league but I’m assuming Denmark, even D2 might be higher ?

Bikerack reacted to Wingback6 in Jonathan Osorio
His game reminds me a bit of Ramsey with the late runs/goals. Osorio is a better dribbler, Ramsey is faster. Haven't watched much of TFC lately, but I think the biggest hurdle for Osorio is working on his defensive game, if he wants to take the next step.

Bikerack reacted to Bison44 in Ryan Telfer
He isnt taking up an academy spot. He is on the USL TFC2. A bunch of the V's on here are big proponents of having a mix of older more mature guys on the the CDN USL teams (when there were multiple teams) so the 17-19 year olds dont get swamped playing american independent teams with rosters of old pros. I think once he got out of CIS he was lucky to land on TFC2 and get a lot of minutes. He usually looks pretty good, but its still a surprise signing. If they were signing a striker I would have brought up Hundal. But I'm not a coach or a gm, just a fan.

For me, Tabla has been gone since he declined to play for our U20’s, even though it wouldn’t effect/cap tie him in the future . This was inevitable

Explain what?
”We asked Ballou to come play with Canada a whole bunch times, every time he said no.”

Van der wiel successfully shut down one of the trickiest wingers in Concacaf over 2 legs. I would say that isn’t a waste. I’m not sure if you have seen Aquino play in other Tigres games or for Mexico, but the guy is very good. Van der wiel made Aquino invisible over the two legs.

Bikerack reacted to saladroit in Mark-Anthony Kaye
Nice little spotlight piece on the LAFC website about Kaye's performance yesterday against the Sounders.
Quote from Bradley: "A lot of guys gave big efforts. I thought Tyler Miller was very good in goal. Mark-Anthony Kaye, first game in the league, does a very good job holding things together in the midfield.”

Bikerack reacted to Gian-Luca in Mark-Anthony Kaye
Because Kaye himself indicated that Bradley saw him play in the Gold Cup and that this helped him get the gig in LA and OZ is the one who played him in the tourney. Just because people are giving OZ credit doesn't mean they are denying credit to others like Findley.

Bikerack reacted to miel de maple in Jonathan David
David is an extremely exciting prospect. Think of him as a Suarez model of striker: suprisingly mobile, quick, but strong and excellent with the ball at his feet for your typical centre forward.. and that’s the problem - he is so good with the ball that it is tempting to move him to the wings, but his nose for goal means you want him in the box. If he can bulk up and proove he can joistle with grown centre halves then that’s when you’ll see people take notice - and is what we need to wait for before throwing too much expectations his way . Fingers crossed he can. Luckily Gent is the perfect place to help him do it.

I'm so sick of Canadians on other forums defending this guy. Makes me sick.
We all understand the decision, but we don't have to applaud it.

Herdman politely explained he was transitioning, the letter was part of his reassignment therapy.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Bikerack got a reaction from MtlMario in Ballou Tabla
I see what you're saying but if "his heart is with IC" then I don't think he should have ever put on the Canadian jersey
he is basically relaying the ongoing message "play for Canada until something better comes along"
this culture needs to change
