Bikerack reacted to Blackdude in Canada vs Barbados - Jan 7th (Camp Poutine Match #1)
Borjan should not be anywhere near number 1 for national team. Crépeau should not be anywhere near number 1 for national team. Maybe we should put none as number 1 for national team. He can't save anything, though.

In a thread where so many members seem to have found something to whine or complain about, I think this is truly a brilliant suggestion.

Bikerack reacted to WheatsheafSK in Camp Poutine 2020 in beautiful California
Here are my two worthless bits:
Wow - Canada is having a camp... in January... and Friendlies to boot! So why are so many whining on this forum? So nice that Canada is taking on a better team in a friendly for what feels like the first time in, like, forever. It is about time that CMNT starts challenging themselves against teams that are above them in the rankings, play a different style and are not part of CONCACAF. It is almost as if CSA is looking beyond the next tournament for once. CMNT will beat Barbados (assuming they don't use it as a training exercise), and they can beat Iceland if they play to their potential. It is big squad, but nice to see CPL and other new faces be included. Weak in midfield, but otherwise there are options at most positions. In particular, this is a big opportunity for Crepeau. Look forward to seeing who steps up (and who falls into oblivion). -

So i’m Pretty sure that Cruz Azul owns 50% of his rights and the other 50% are owed by a mystery team. That’s what was reported when he transferred. My guess is that he will be loaned before he goes to MLS

Rare occasion where on a human level I can say I'm happy for him, even if its not Canada. He really is English through and through and earned it...unlike some actual traitors of the past. Pretty big accomplishment for him! Maybe one day we can face him in a real competition and then get fired up!

A lot of you, and you know who you are, owe John Herdman massive apologies right now.

Bikerack reacted to Ian Kennedy in Scott Kennedy
Spoke with Scott this morning. What was thought to be a hamstring injury was misdiagnosed. After further review of his MRI it has been determined that the injury is Osteitis Pubis (basically a repetitive movement injury causing inflamation). This is the same injury Messi has been dealing with. A leading practitioner in treating this symptom lives near Salzburg and Scott has seen him previously. Scott continues to be focused and disciplined about recovering. He has been fulfilling his "competition" need by honing his ping pong skills. He went 11 for 11 against his teammates yesterday before training.

What’s happening to Borges right now is what I personally wanted out of the CPL
kid goes to Europe , didn’t work out and ended up playing league one youth ball back home . Instead of getting lost, he landed in our professional league and now if being rumoured to play over seas again
can’t wait to hear many more stories like this for years to come!!

May entice more potential owners with deep pockets to join if they can see they can break even or even make a small profit.

Also the league is depending on transfer fees, they’re embracing selling. If a couple of clubs can make even a small amount in year 1 that’s a hugeness success and only helps the league going forward.

Let me get this straight, you come on here bitching about the slogan "We The North", complaining that it "doesn't even make sense".
And to make your point you decided to lead off with such great usage of the english language yourself: "oh god, so cringe" ???
GTFOH!

Bikerack reacted to Ian Kennedy in Scott Kennedy
Scott had a great season. He had more playing time than any other player and scored three (3) goals. Transfermarkt now places his market value at $250 euro. Klagenfurt has extended his contract for two more years. We look forward to seeing his development in the upcoming season. Here's his progression and minutes played in the last 4 seasons (games played, goals scored, yellow cards, red cards and minutes played).

Bikerack reacted to SpecialK in Herdman new head coach
I love how no one will ask herdman about the epic failure at the U20s and why no one was fired over it. The media just loves to kiss this man ass! They don’t even test him.
No questions : about lack of friendlies - yet every major CONCACF team is booking them- no question about the u20s failure and how that fat dumbass is still around and now going to lead the U17s- no updates on Trying to bring in Ferreira and Tomori - no updates on U23s ??? When the USA is already playing games. No questions about other players like Cavallini who has 10 goals in 31 games ( all games in Total) in Mexico this year.
I love Davies and he’s amazing!!! But herdman and media are just focusing on him and it’s sad. David , Cavallini , Borjan and other’s are having an amazing year. Canada is much more than one young superstar who is a sub on Bayern Munich ( that’s not a shot just stating fact )
