We used to rave about kids playing in 5th division Portugal.
Now we have a young player going into Sweden's first division & people are hammering him down by saying he ain't ready.
Man, how far have we come! And we are probably just getting started.

I will move it to the World Soccer area on the weekend.  I think people should be able to say their piece while it’s here.  And personally, Farsi needs to select what’s best for him.  If he feels more Algerian or thinks he’s got a better shot playing for Algeria, that’s his right.  We should not have to grovel to get players to commit to Canada and although he is a good talent, I want players that want to play for Canada.

COPA AMERICA TICKETING:
The Voyageurs are actively in contact with Canada Soccer and Copa America organizers about a supporters section.  Once we receive details, we will let you know.  
However, based on expected demand especially for the Argentina game, there will be a priority system for tickets in this section based on paid membership duration.  If there are any tickets remaining after this allocation, then they may be made available to non-Voyageurs members.
EDIT: the prioritization will finalized once we know the number of tickets to be allocated.

I think this could be debated.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't really think the u17 is the best tournament to evaluate long-term talent.  It's an age range where there's still an enormous amount of development going on (physically and mentally/emotionally) and regardless of country there's a huge volume of players who play at the u17 event and then do nothing (or virtually nothing) professionally.  It's also not a great indicator of future full NT success.  Over the last 20 years, your winners have been Brazil (twice), Mexico (twice), Nigeria (3 times), Switzerland, and England, and while none of those teams are bad the number of WC winners from those countries has been zero.
Anyway, I'm disappointed Canada hasn't done better and disappointed for the players.  It's just not the reason I'm concerned about the long term prospects.
