  1. Brym has skill…. I like what I’ve seen of him in his highlight reels. We don’t need one sided speedersters. Especially on the left side which is locked down with multiple options.
  2. Corbeanu is my guy. Was a guy that got no attention from Canada soccer, but when it did he switched right away! I’ve said it before, he’s one that I’m very excited about. A lot of these guys are more Canadian than the country they represent it’s two thirds just optics.
  3. He needs to play in all 3 games to be officially gone.
  4. Who was it that gave a guarantee that Waterman would be on the WC roster? Was it Wheeldon?
  5. What do you mean? You don’t want a Davies jersey? All the sizes are in stock! 🤭
  6. Articles, buzz, hype, media, marketing? ....oh wait we don't do that.
  7. 18 months for a template. As if their shit isn’t made in China, or Thailand or whatever cents paying country.
  8. The last guys that were brought in were already apart of the program. @El Hombreyou only listed 2 new guys in Kone & Kolesho. The “spread thin” is a horrible excuse @El Hombrethat I won’t accept. Our coaching is already ran like a local club team with guys having roles at multiple levels, so we can’t talk about being spread thin, when we continue to do cost cutting measures. And now as @Corazonhas pointed out and that we are all aware about…we have key guys who are injured, not playing and/or out of form except for maybe a few. The state we are in, we might see some guys called in to the WC who rarely appeared at qualifying.
  9. This change of thinking is what will keep our depth limited, it kind of makes me think he’s running it like a club. However, unlike club football, the MNT program has career commitments…and if we aren’t actively weaning in new young talent to ensure that there is future options we’ll end up with just having “golden generations” and continue to miss out on talent because of dumb decisions of not calling up a 27th player to camp. If you look at it this way, in hindsight we’ve essentially lost “insert player name here” for Campagnas continuous camp spots. All we are saying is to call them up, give them hope. Nobody has said for them to play over Davies, Buchanan, or whoever. I wish these journs would ask the REAL tough questions at least sometimes.
  10. Why Ironman Bradley is still there.
  11. @RS not strange, considering you know the current climate of TFC and you couldn’t answer the question of “where is he going to play” yourself….. so how does it not seem like a signing just to sign him? Alsooooo the talk of Peruzza going would be another short sited move considering we essentially lost JRR for him, who’s a completely different option for a what we have. It’s all great in theory when these HG signings happen, but it means fuck all if they don’t get to play, or they get an opportunity and perform only for it to be then taken by them for an old man with no future. I don’t get excited anymore is all I’m saying. I kinda rather prefer to hear that they signed somewhere else…. That they got out. Because some of these moves and signings haven’t made sense.
  12. Same insanity I feel with the Arfield thread.
  13. Piette too....guys a bulldog, but a nice one. It's like he'll bite you, but he didn't mean too.
  14. Turkey has our jersey. You can envision a maple leaf. .....and yoo they went hard for Nigeria again, too bad they are not at the WC 🙃. I wonder if their sales will remain the same.
  15. To be likeable is the old Canadian way....the way guys were taught to have no personality, and no edge to them. Now we see it in Laryea, Larin, Buchanan, Davies, Kaye, and Osorio. And I like it. We we had a pushover mentality before, and that has all changed.

Yea I really don't get how ceilings are projected. Is that a North American sports thing? It's a statement to me that is very arbitrary like "the skys the limit", meanwhile we're casually going to space. Mind you he's only 22yo, and in Europe. While Miller is 25 and still in MLS. But a lot could change in a few years.
  17. it's even safe to say double size up. I like my jerseys fitted when I'm playing. But a little loose if its fan wear/street wear
  18. I didn’t know Bayern and Barca were direct rivals….thought it was only a UCL thing. Another questionable interesting take from UT that I think everyone is lost in understanding.
  19. I’m rooting for him man. I appreciate his commitment, and he’s deserves to be at the end of this story in Qatar.
  20. And that’s fine. As long as he’s a member of our program, I don’t care how “he ends up”. You can predict the future, but you can have players committed to the program.

I hear yah buddy, but do you see how our situation is trending? And for me, I’m okay if it’s a young guy trying to commit to us vs a 27 yo who has no other options.
  22. @Obinna and this is my point. I think it’s more glamorous that he’s playing on a winning/contending team that it gets camouflaged as if he’s playing regularly. He comes on, bounces around and “try’s a thing or two” - which sometimes it comes off and sometimes it comes back the other way. “Elegant way he moves with the ball” is the swag/flair that I’m talking about my guy. Priso pre-injury would be in contention for that same spot. Here’s hoping he finds a place that is going to let him play.
  23. Late addition to the WC roster? I think not 😏
