I think our hidden play might be moving David to a 10 position where he can be more involved in the link up with the midfielders, and have less of an expectation to hold the ball/lead the line. He’s great at finding spaces, and is lethal in transition without the ball. Although he can do great job, when he’s a lone 9 he’s required to do a lot more then what he does best. I’ve been a big advocate of us playing a 352, but I would like to see a 4231. 1 - Larin (we might be silently having a new age striker crisis) 3 - Davies, David, Buchanan 2 - Kone, Staq

Career goals scored is another factor for me. Hoilett has a lot of worldies off that right foot….where the same can’t be said about Davies yet.

He just can’t play a lone striker against better opposition. It’s almost like he’s better in a 10. Edit: WithCanada it seems.

I didn't help when he was producing in Russian Premier league...so we don't know what will. He's a guy who could benefit from an MLS to boost his national team presence...but in the same breathe we know that MLS isn't Canada's league and a MLS club (not in Canada) would have to take an extreme flyer on him because he's an international - which isn't glamourous.

Not really surprising if we’re talking about the money. To me Jay isn’t worth paying big money for on a CPL team.

He’s been at previous camps, but has requested to not play?…. He hasn’t been invited to any US camps yet….. Idc about “benefit of the doubt”, I’m not as optimistic, or holding on a prayer like some of you - and that’s fine. I’ll stick to my statement. Until he’s fully capped, and fully a member then I will care. We have wayyy to many of these cases in which I’ve given the BOD.

TFC II Rohan Goulborne is in preseason training with the first team. He's a left back although predominantly played CB with TFC II last season is from Brampton, who's been with TFC since he was 14(?, maybe younger) Was in preseason last year, but could assume he was beat out to a spot by Petrasso.

Great comparisons. Those clubs are the epitome of development franchises who put little expectation on winning things (although the unions fortunes have been better). The club that surprises me the most is FC Dallas, because if they spent to win/big while surround their elite academy talents with those players they have the perfect recipe. Bob Bradley gave these sorta talks early on, and it looked like he was committed to this with M-R, Thompson, Petrasso, Shaffelburg, and Kerr…… But nah it was nothing.

Here me out….I feel like I’m todays age it’s so easy to claim mental health for everything. But every poor life decision doesn’t have to be a result of mental health. And in his case I call bullshit. Therapy helps, and works if you want to be “fixed” or helped. It’s usually just selfishness as to why it doesn’t. I’ve had to deal with this first hand with one of my closest Uncles, who’s kids have now become an extension of my young family because of his constant stupid selfish life choices. So I have zero sympathy for drug addicts who act like they need help, and make themselves victim.
