This is exactly how I feel about you know who….and he has more reps the Brym. I’m still trying to figure out what he does best, but somehow he always gets a bligh and praise for doing nothing. So for me, I’m willing to give Brym or whoever that same extended leash that everyone gives him.

Trust me. I'm more lenient on guys who made their debut (Ahmed, Bombito, McGraw), and expected a lot more from those who have been around long enough.

That's the the main issue, there isn't much firepower at all in this squad. This is the form of the starters of last night. Cavallini - 2 goals this year, last goal was Mar 18th JRR - 2 goals this season, last got May 14th Hoilett - 1 goal this season, scored on August 17th, 22 Millar - 1 goal this season, score on July 28th, 22 As much as we talk about a CB crisis....we have an attacking one too.

On the bench… I expect nothing from this tournament reason why I said “experimental tournament” and “experimental lineup”.

He did last night? Didn’t he? I just feel like his confidence is lost in the final third - a lot of indecisiveness. At times when he should’ve been taking on a man, it was a quick good cross to no one. Or getting caught in between to minds, and getting jammed. His quality to be able to advance the ball forward, and make the pass before the final pass (hockey assist) is why I put him there. And maybe why his Basel coach played him there as well.

Since this is an experimental tournament, I would like to see an experimental lineup in 352 setup for next game. Since this is an experimental tournament. My back 4 would be… Laryea-Bombito-Kennedy-Millar I think Millar could play that style similar to Adekugbe, where he’s able to defend well and advance the ball.

Spot on. I too was at the game, and share the same thoughts plus more. I give some guys blighs on their debut…But for the one who this is there 10+ …naw. I want to see Nelson next game, and ZBG. It’s great how Cavallini got that goal, but he’s a super sub at this point in his career. His strength is usually a key point but it was non existent tonight.

Just leaving the game and I saw different for some of the guys you mentioned except Ahmed. Felt McGraw was the better of the two CBS. Bombito in the middle was surprising, and thought he did okay but wonder how he would be in the back. Hoilett was a hoilet when he doesn’t score or assist. Millar was getting jammed in the first half, and didn’t produce anything in the attack. But covered defensively…im starting to think he could be a LWB. Laryea was solid. Miller was shaky at times for being the vet. Osorio was sloppy, looked like his second game in a long time. Cavallini put in the one work for the goal and didn’t do much other than that. He was second to a lot of balls. Subs…were subs… 1st game…but this is going to be a tough tournament.

Honestly playing those two nations for the heck of it doesn’t make sense either. If they are paying then cool. If not, might as well save the money, and put it towards a proper November camp or turn it to a domestic camp to “save”money.

2-1 final. Panama W. Costa Rica is a shell of their past. This loss benefits us, as we will have the potential to move into 3rd place in Concacaf rankings. I also think they won’t leave the group.

I’m excited to see the boys play too…but I will reserve the “why not us” until I’ve seen how we do against Guadeloupe. 2-0 minimum would be the only result that would have me saying “why not us”.

It would make sense. Imo As much as I love hearing/seeing Staq in this squad, it doesn’t make any sense how he’s the only “key” guy there. Transfer or not he needs to cement his spot in that Porto team.
