  1. You must of missed my post. I was cheering and said he was motm...there was a few post. Its the reason why I said I prefer to see him up top Vs outside. Laryea has gone at them...so I'm confused. I don't care if they turn it over at this point, just need to see something different. No shade.
  2. He has time, it's just a constant instinct to cut in or play it back. At this point I rather see him try something and lose it. Keep the fullback honest.
  3. I would honestly prefer that Hoilett and Millar swap positions. between Lucas and jr there's no one to stretch that backline.
  4. The thing with this age group it's more based on raw talent, and less training resources. So you can get a lot surprise teams like DR was at the U20.
  5. And this is key for Canada. Because let's be honest, the number 1 and number 2 isn't solidified after Borjan calls it quits...and thats soon. Some say Crepeau but (God willing) he can get back to playing the way he used too. And St. Clair although great, hasn't been able to showcase to say that "yea thats mine".... So Canada might look like the "easy road" to Odunze vs the "trials and tribulations" of the USA road.
  6. Kinda of what you want to hear tbh… Theres no harm in trying to make a statement, he’s at the the “top” he can only only go down.
  7. Old story that keeps getting rehashed. The MOACB collectively have done more work. We’ve probably just had more disappointment.
  8. Part of me wants to say done with Borjan and Vitoria after this Gold Cup. I love Borjan specifically and his love for Canada...but it's time to say good bye and go with the young.
  9. I like this line up too. Except the weak side on the right with Zach and Steven it could easily get exploited, especially if we are hoping for Laryea to be the offensive threat he's been for us.
  10. I can relate. These kids don't know about the days when we would watch Canada at the GC and hoping for them to score a single goal, and didn't the entire tournament... never mind the thought about winning games. Following the CMNT post 2019 is all pride, guts, and glory. A perfect time to start your supporter journey.
  11. Spot on. I like the personnel... just think the formation needs to be reworked or something. But playing Cavallini as the lone striker doesn't work, and like how Millar complimented his inabilities. So maybe a 442 with Hoilett in the LM position.
  12. Bunch of semantics being spewed out now, especially with the over analyzing of some words "miracle vs big upset" . I don't know how I got turned to the "policing thing" when it started with your comment. But anyways you are right. You win. Folks remember now don't watch the game if you don't strongly think Canada can win.
  13. See I think you don't understand the true feelings of a supporter. Maybe you are a new Canada soccer fan (I don't know), but this is how some of us felt a lot of times before, but we still showed up, watched the game, bought the merch and supported. Hoping for there to be a miracle. You're not a fan just because you watch games that your team is expected to win. And you're not a fan if you don't want to watch your team because the odds are drastically there for them to lose. You're a fan when you support regardless of knowing the inevitable. TO ADD: If you can say that Arsenal is a big underdog to City, then what is Canada to the USA iyo?
  14. @InglewoodJack I think both your takes are subjective. I'm an Arsenal fan, and when I knew they were playing City....I would spew out saying "yea we can take them" but in reality if you actually watch football, your brain will tell you who the better team is and will give you the reality. So just because guys are saying "I think we are going to lose" doesn't mean they don't support Canada. That's a weird take. There's optimism and theres realism. I felt like we had a chance for the NL, this....I don't but I'll be watching supporting and hoping to be happily surprised.
  15. No they didn't. Jamaica lost 2 pts between the missed penalty, and the chest down lay off pass. I watched the game, and the USA didn't look impressive. But Jamaica looks and are playing like a better team than Canada....so we shall see.
  16. No,they put in a bid for him. But he only wants Milan.
  17. If you’re going based on experience then McGraw has more experience playing against these US players. So he would start for me, just not if Vitoria is playing.
  18. If it’s not broken don’t fix it @Olympique_de_Marseille I was waiting for you to start it, why’d you take so long. I ran out of patience.😆
