    This is a real issue and a problem. This discussion is more aligned with "pay dispute" thread as that's literally how one of the CSA's largest revenue contributors are generated.

    Active players are World Cup champion Thomas Lemar born in Guadeloupe, and current number 1 Maignan born in French Guiana. Malouda was born in French Guiana. Im sure there's more, I know there's more at the youth levels.

    It's the reason Scamman is leaving. He doesn't like doing the dirty work of a lone striker. That's the only reason I think Michail has stuck around even with his production considerably dropping last season.

    At 20....this could be move that is setup for him to go to the first team. Charlotte don't have a standout GK, and MLS gives young GKs chances. It would still be wise for Canada to try to take him out of the USMNT depth chart.

    It's part and parcel with age comes maturity. With consistent game time comes learning. But dribble on young blood, we need a guy like him in our A squad as a super sub.

    Trust me. Seem's like some here aren't level-headed. I would hate this move, but reality is money talks. And I don't blame him for being given the opportunity to cash out. Even after the contract, he should be in his prime years. Him going to Tottenham would be just as bad. In my honest Arsenal fan opinion.

    Glad he found a home. Personally, I'm not too fond of the SPFL, but it's still a league that progresses on many players after good seasons. Motherwell has been a mid-table team for several years, so hopefully he will get some game time to show out.

    Does provincial teams serve a purpose anymore? With most players in academies, and not allowed to play in both ...I'm not sure it plays the same importance it did when I used to play. Same thing with provincial Cups... League 1 has effected the overall quality/and purpose.

    The way it looks now is that it's very likely. Jamaica look on par with Canada and have a huge x factor. Sinclair needs to retire. She's just being selfish at this point.

    With a new season that has begun, and two tournaments behind us. The positive is that we continue to build depth. I think in our favoured formation of 3-5-2, based on recent call-ups (22/23) this is what our depth chart currently looks like:

    Not only that but Kennedy was being called our best CB while playing in B2. So to echo your statement, if he does lock down a starting spot he definitely should get a look considering our lack of depth in that position.

    Real soon. If not Italy, Spain, or USA. Like Ferdi we will be the last pick, regardless of his history of coming into camp.

    It shouldn't...as playing in Conference league shouldn't be a deal breaker. They'll be back next year in the UCL.

    I don't mind it. I like it actually. Gone are the days of Canada being the soft apologists.
