  1. Meh, send some other ladies who would love the opportunity to go and aren't concerned about money.

    Fikayo Tomori

Wait, I thought there was some news that said he was still available due to a misunderstanding of the rule...

Not to mention Shaw, Stones, and White not being there...all who are arguably ahead of him.

Maguire subbed on for Guehi... Dunk will come off for Tomori at some point.

85 minute is when he'll come on.
  6. This. Full stop. We're not getting a name brand manager anytime soon. I like Bobby aswell, and the patriot in me wants to see a Canadian lead Canada at the WC on home soil. It will be the first time we have a homegrown coach, with actually experience coaching in Concacaf (minimal, but it can't be said about Mitchell or Findlay.) So since we'll be taking a punt on a random manager who will again have the best Canadians all time at his disposal...why not let it be a homegrown?!

It was bad I know, but I couldn't express it any other way lol. We all know Southgate has no intention to really use him, and his call up is just a ploy.
  8. Based on this, it's possible Panama could be knocked out. One thing for sure is the top two will be determined on the final match day.

Our salesman is now gone. And I feel like we would need someone with significant influence (Phil Neville?) to build on any luring attempts. But with the friendly with Scotland on Tuesday, I think he will be played like a hoe from the pimp that is Southgate. Levi or Dunk should start with Guehi...but the pimp knows what's at stake, and won't want to lose one of his bottom bitches.
  10. I also wonder, if there could be some kind of var. That wasn't a red card, and has impacted a result that's needed.
  11. Needless dribbling but, it was a foul... Ref has been shocking.
  12. Yea for me, I just hate how he's being played at fullback. The skills he displayed at the World Cup showed he's an attacking player.
  13. RW who plays RB....he's a perfect ingredient for Simeones recipe.
  14. 27 turning 28...I guess you gotta go wherever the money takes you at this point.
  15. I wonder if he's still declined Haiti?
  16. I get what your saying ...but the last part of your statement pretty much sums up everything....it's not up to the new coach. Like @Bigandyhas already mentioned "he's retired". The guys I was listing earlier weren't meant to be direct comparisons, but more so from different categories of new, fringe, and core players.
  17. Are you calling Arfield over Choiniere? Probably not. Are you calling Arfield over Millar? Probably not. Are you calling Arfield over Osorio? Definitely not. This affinity for Arfield has gone beyond sensible now. He's definitely not a leader, and since he's not it doesn't make sense to use his spot when we could go younger and prepare for the immediate future. He'll be 35 come the Copa America
  18. I have a strong feeling he keeps it status quo.
  19. He should've been at the WC.
  20. Probably the same reason why you asked if it was loan or permanent transfer. It's obvious Liam wanted out of Basel, as they haven't suited his playing style and dissed him last year by playing him at wingback. The risk is on the flipside of your second paragraph, and I don't want to delve into the bad side of the "what if's" as the ink has barely dried. But I can guarantee you, with 1 year remaining on his contract with Basel (after the loan)...I don't need Spitfire to confirm this, but I would believe the plan is for Liam to tear it up at PNE, and not have to go back.... I respectfully think the Basel chapter is closed.
  21. I thought about this too, it's risky only for Liam. But he needed to get out of that situation at Basel, and bet on himself. Lets hope he kills it like Djed Spence did on loan, and the Premier interest returns.
  22. Now, now wtf did you name drop me for lol? I'm not negative, I'm just not biased when it comes to comparing players like a lot of you lot. Happy Liam got out of dodge, and is in familiar and comfortable settings - which is great, but he still has to perform in a dog eat dog league that arguably has better players. Hope he kills it, and leads PNE to the promised land. His time is now - LFG!
  23. Did you watch the highlights? I feel love they're just picking someone because their team is shit. I watched last game, and they looked like a pick up team. No chemistry, and guys all over the place.
