  1. This is a crazy take brother. Brym has played substantially less minutes than Millar for Canada, and his minutes have only come as a late sub. Shirts won't be dripping from 25 minutes of play. Especially when you compare someone who's playing 75 minutes... I think you're caught up on how someone "looks" Vs what they actually do. Millar is very active because where he plays (LWB) requires a lot of up and down activity - more ground to cover. If Brym gives you the sense of no pride, I wonder how you feel about Kones demeanour ...
  2. He has already been playing consistent minutes. I think for whatever reason it all depends on the player. Theres arguments for a lot of guys in the squad today that shouldnt be over some of the guys that missed out. It's all arbitrary.
  3. Trust me, I'm hearing you. But based on this method, where/when has it worked for us. I feel like the recent duals acquired have always come as a surprise. But if there was "noise" before who knows what would have happened.
  4. The thing about this is he's currently out sick/injured and possibly not match fit so it wouldn't make sense to call him in. The optimist in me says he is ready to file his one-time switch, and Canada won't announce anything till it's done. I personally don't want anymore feel good/test the water call ups like Koleosho, and Flores. It's unnecessary hoopla that we lose out on.
  5. He plays RW...so Buchanan (not there), Laryea, and Johnston would be ahead of him in the RWB. But IMO he's a better attacker, and passer in the final third.
  6. The glitz and glam of being attached to European or UK clubs trumps everything in our backyard.
  7. Yea I was reluctantly expecting some of them as well (not all)....but I was hoping to be surprised. Missed opportunity to move on from the old guard especially considering the circumstances of each of the players.
  8. Some said he should never play for Canada ever lol... But he's been playing very well at Motherwell in the games where I've watched. To think of it, I would have taken Bair over Hoilett.
  9. I was saying the same thing. Swap them three for some other guys like Sirios, Corbeanu, and Zator/Waterman/ sheit even Kennedy. Just stop with this old guard.
  10. Isn't he more interested in joining Nigeria?
  11. I think this is the most important. That "test drive" could come at the Copa America. We need more guys to have international experience, especially considering a lot of our guys will be well past their prime in 26. I completely understand the thinking behind this, but on the contrary...If Biello is truly trying to win the job he would look at establishing a new core. Hoilett, Borjan, Vitoria, Cavallini shouldn't be considered apart of the core anymore.
  12. So your more stuck on the name, rather than the competition itself? I think the competition is great. It has more value than u17 or u20 tournaments imo. ...some 17 or 19yo are more than good enough to play against 23yo...just not "full grown" men. That's where this competition is a better assessor of the next level of talent.
  13. My question was of concern related to the CMNT, and less about the caps if I'm tbh. Because based on what you caps fans are saying there is no way we should see them next week, but I have a feeling we might see both Laryea and Sam.
  14. But better than hoilett and Sammy have been no?
  15. I wanted to react by laughing, because it's accurate...I just think he's stronger than Haber.
  16. The irony in so many ways.... I'm still trying to find where "the most here" said Sporting is a "crappy" or bad club... But again if you say it, it must be factual truth that everyone should adhere too.
  17. I don't think anyone said the club is crappy but that he's wasting his time because he's going up and down. But if UT says it, then it must be true.
  18. Wrong thread I think....but this is a shit show. Herdman must be having conversations with the real bosses about Mannings position.
  19. He has consistently started for a 4th placed Motherwell. Hasn't scored really, but he does everything else expected of a target 9. Good hold up play, wins aerial battles, the only thing missing is the goals, but his manager keeps starting him so there's a belief that it will come. I think he would pair nicely with someone like David.
  20. I like it because there's so many guys within that age bracket that need international competition & additional exposure. It's essentially the B team to the senior team. I wish Concacaf had a consistent u23 tournament, other than every 4 years. In this instance we have a bunch of guys that miss out due to being born in an off year.
  21. Somebody clarify.... I thought the U- whatever eligibility is determined by the year they turn the age. Like Saliba is an 04 turning 20 next year...why wouldn't he be eligible? I get he won't be eligible for the WC in 25 provided they qualify, but why not Concacaf?
  22. Provided we qualify for the final tournament, this preliminary round could be the necessary prep they probably wouldn't have.
  23. I didn't see your post and I looked over @MM3/MM2/MM... seemed very fan motivated, with Cavalry winning the treble 😆
