I rather see those MLS teams join the CPL to validate the league, which would subsequently do what you are asking @RJB. I understand we are years away from that, but it's all good...I can still dream. As MLS continues to expand, each Canadian MLS club will slowly be an after thought as they will likely have 1 CCC spot to fight for.

I feel like perception is still a factor. Its "better" to be in Europe struggling to get minutes Vs leaving Europe to play in the CPL. The risk in not doing well in the CPL is high, and it's like where do you go from there.

@Ozzie_the_parrot you are spot on in all these posts. I will be very interested to see who they bring in as owners...because it should be massive news and massive advancement for this team. The new owners have to come in with money that they are willing to spend. Maybe even a relocation to a more ideal stadium/part of the city

It was simply a question. Is two professional matches good enough to trump the other seasoned professionals, who are actually playing albeit at inferior levels? I'm not sure, is all I'm saying.

He's been playing as a striker/attacker/winger. I don't think anyone disagrees. Nelson was 1 of the few playing in an inferior league. This is all opinion, based on nothing of merit and your own coefficient. Frankfurt beat Aberdeen 2-1 in a Conference League match this season. 2 years ago Rangers beat Dortmund in the knockout round. I've been on here stating the quality of the SPFL, but I'm not going to undermine the fact that it's 1st division football with a couple tops tens that are regulars performers in Europe. And for me, I've been watching Bair play, and I would call him up over Froese. His style is completely different from what we have (outside of Larin, we have zero hold up strikers), whereas Froese is similar to some others.

It's UT. He is God here. He's allowed to act whatever way he wants here. I have recently watched him play before, but it doesn't change anything. I would actually argue that it's less than that, and not just a third. I believe MLS, SPFL, Swiss League, and EFL Championship are arguably better than 2. Bundesliga.

There would have to be several injuries for that to happen. 1. David, Larin, Buchanan, Davies 2. Millar, Hoilett, Brym, Cavallini, Ugbo 3. Nelson, Shaffelburg, Corbeanu, Bair JR-R Then there's the never been called up: Colyn, Kerr, Kulenovic. He's gotta be doing better than he is. A lot of guys are at similar levels and have had a better season/performing better. I will say I miss the 3 game windows. It brought a unique aspect to international football where rotating/using the entire squad was inevitable.

Any chances would have to come after September. I would love for more guys to get opportunities, it just doesn't seem realistic. Real missed opportunity by not playing any in September and only 1 in October. Theres just so many names deserving of a call up, with limited windows to experiment or give out opportunities.

I don't know that Dallas Sounders game last night had me thinking aggregate was a thing the way they were just sitting. Teams will give up if the game is lost- very entertaining.

Read a report that said Madrid are going to go in for Davies this summer, and would get him for under 40M due to his contract expiring the following season. Would be crazy to see him at Madrid for several reasons, but I also want him to leave east street Bayern.

Yea I know. Just felt like be his big brother again. People will like a post for someone else when that's said, and ignore it when it comes to Brym...because it's the easy thing to do.

Does anyone think he could genuinely get minutes in the next few windows? I'm thinking Kone, but does he have that much potential that he would bypass Vitoria, McGraw, Bombito, Waterman, and Zator in that RCB depth chart?

Reiterates my stance that some of our players are just greedy. Born and raised in the country and are "begging" for money to play for their country. Meanwhile Reggae Boyz fans refer to the "beggars list" as the English born and raised, ancestral Jamaicans who come play for the country under worse circumstances. If Jamaica had our money/funding they would be a Concacaf perennial power. -

He just hasn't been playing. He had a reoccurring knee injury and was out for the season last year, on top of being regularly injured before that one. They can't call him up if he hasn't been healthy. If he can return to his former form, I'm sure he could get a recall. I just think Hal is good with his two guys being Shamar and Michail. The guy I'm more surprised about not seeing more often is Jamal Lowe.
