  1. If it's 442, it'll be the first time Antonio and Nicholson are playing together up top...but boy is that a test for Miller and Vitoria. If it's a 433, I agree we probably see Nicholson out wide and interchanging with Antonio. Reid in the CAM could be a problem.
  2. 10000% this. It makes no sense considering the circumstances of the field and knowing the weather. A simple solution to mitigate this could be a tarp with slope control.
  3. Gone are the days of us relying on a rookie to lead the line. To me, mentioning that Larin is pointless based on the current state of our program. I think you're understating the player "depth" we have, and more so displaying your affinity towards him. Just looking at our depth solely based on the forward position, and the age they will be in 2026. We have this list of guys who have had NT caps, with some being core players. David 26 Larin 31 Brym 28 Russell-Rowe 24 Ugbo 28 Bair 27 Akinola 26 Then there's a bucket of guys who are currently playing at higher levels than him and haven't been called. Kerr 23 Colyn 24 Anthony Vilsaint 24 Johnson 27 Mbongue 22 Kulenović 27 Ennin 28 Then there are guys who are playing at similar levels and have been consistently performing... Pacius 25 Campbell 28 Oluwaseyi 26 Salter 26 Ferrin 27 Then there's the guy everybody wants who will immediately be included as soon as he commits... Jebbison 23 The reality is, that this is an exhaustive list of guys who are in the same group and it doesn't factor in the upcoming guys who might randomly explode onto the scene. We can have the same hope for the 13 other guys who could have the chance to break through one day.
  4. The coach first. He has thee most losing recording ever for a national team coach. (I don't know if that's true, but I believe it)
  5. I'll start off by saying great decision kid. It's better to take the opportunity and start your international career now, than wait for something that may never come. For the ones who are erry about this decision. You gotta think about it from a players perspective. When? When will I get the chance to represent? In the case of DeRosario... 1. I haven't ever been apart of the my birth countries setup. 2. Looking at the core very few new guys will join 3. If the opportunity knocks, why not take it. These moves will continue to happen. And Canada and USA will continue to be scouted for "surplus" Concacaf talent in those countries. The only issue I strongly have is that it stems from the vetting and opportunities aspect. We don't have enough youth camps, and the most important age bracket U-23 (imo) doesn't exist. It would take a lot for the USA to "miss out" on a player considering the amount of camps they have at several ages. For us, it could very much so happen because of the lack thereof....so time will continue to tell us about our failures. The only thing is that these "ex" Canadians can't affect our WC qualifying opportunities today. So I can't be mad about Osaze betting on himself internationally considering the increase in WC spots. Our next worry is losing Woobens
  6. The pitch at the Office doesn't look bad today. Let's hope there aren't any flash floods that would completely change this.
  7. Would be unreal to see him at Real. I hope it happens. They are creating a team that could dominate longer than their last dynasty team, once all the puzzles are in place.
  8. And some quick facts... - H2H: Jamaica has 6 wins, Canada has 5 wins, Draws 7 - Jamaica has recently gone unbeaten in Kingston in 7 matches. - Jamaica has never won in Canada. - Canada hasn't won in Jamaica since 1988 with 10 matches being played in Jamaica between that time. - Canada is 22 games unbeaten in Toronto, with the last loss coming against Peru. I'm betting safe. Canada draw in Kingston, and Canada win in Toronto. parlay.
  9. By the sounds of it, he'll be looking for a new club in the new year.
  10. Or Bair too. I could understand that JRR is more of a hold up striker than Brym, but so is Bair and he's been consistently playing.
  11. Reid has always done well for Jamaica, but recently I would say Bailey and Antonio have performed better. If we play a 352, I could see the "joy" in the midfield if we overload. But they could match our midfield, as Staq is the only superior player. A collection of Lattiboudeaire, Johnson, and Russell could stabilize their middle.
  12. amari bell somehow is included when he hasn't made the bench for Lutron. Jamal Lowe is an omission for me, especially since he's been consistently performing at Swansea. Where as Williams is a surprise to be included.
  13. Meh, I've never felt that way about anyone in recent times....but maybe you or others will say Brym. I just think in general it's easy for players to switch off because they're getting jammed in 1v1s, passing in the final third is off, making mistakes or w.e and let it affect their defensive responsibilities. It's rarely the case with Liam. His work rate is always there.
  14. This is what I appreciate about his game. He rarely doesn't put in a good defensive shit. There's times when things are going offensively, but there's the other side of the game.
  15. The talk about Cavallini being a different option for us up top is true, his style is different. But if it was on this basis, I would've preferred Theo Bair who has been banging, winning headers, and holding up the ball at Motherwell. He's more in form that Lucas imo but I understand the status quo.
  16. Exactly. And if you follow a premier league team as far the academy products coming up. You'll know that some guys get a few appearances and then end up being career League 2 players. It's just way to early to say he's had a better career already just because of that appearance. Excited for him to be apart of the program and see him play. But I'll err on the side of caution.
  17. Man these takes are just outright disrespectful lol. I get there's hype, but he hasn't played much. 1 cup match and he's the best in our pool. If he wasn't English would he be in the same position? Probably not. Call me crazy, but I don't think I could say THAT confidently.
  18. This was his first full year there no? He was given multiple opportunities this year. Out of the 28 games he played, 15 were starts. I think he should stick it out considering they were the "only" ones who wanted him. At this point, he is t a starter and is more of a super sub/impact player.
