  1. There's no reason for him not to at this rate. Based on the last squad, I'm dropping JRR and Hoilett and replacing them with Bair and Brym.
  2. You didn't answer the question though...about 90% of the OneSoccer content is done from people's home. Meaning a lot of it doesn't require this sophisticated "production" you speak of. And if the company (CPL) was willing to let go of a big piece of their marketing (OneSoccer), don't you think they would try to replace it somehow. Weekly Previews, Weekly Reviews in a studio. The rest is made from home content put out the CPL YT page. It doesn't sound as crazy as you want to put it.
  3. But what coverage are we talking about... the OneSoccer today? The content on YouTube? I think that's something the CPL should take on as they're in house media. What's it for KJ, Jenkins, Wilson, Andi, Wheeler, and Pratt to be hired by the CPL as their new media team. They do exactly what they were doing with OneSoccer. Heck takeover the OneSoccer studios and rebrand it as the CPL studio. Theres not much "production" involved with that. Leave all the game day stuff to TSN or Sportsnet.
  4. If he does well in the reserves hopefully the first team will sign him.
  5. I'm hoping that majority of the good guys at onesoccer like KJ, Andi, Oli, Jordan, and Jenkins will go with whoever picks up the rights. If it's TSN, a nice panel of DeGuzman, Wilson, and KJ would be good with Wheels and Jenkins covering matches. Im tired of the Kevin and Scott panel.
  6. It would be very stupid to make this decision without a fallback plan - regardless if they weren't paying. MediaPro/OneSoccer was still providing a value to the business. So I want to believe they have something lineup, and I'm interested and excited to hear the great news! If I hear they plan to broadcast games ala MLS Next Pro....this league could potentially be in palliative care.
  7. I saw this article: Toronto FC Ranks Second for Most Expensive Fan Experience ... and it strengthens my point about the angle they need to take with this club. Get the team smack dab in the city, be an alternative cheap option that focuses on the fan experience. Cheap beers, cheap food l, cheap tickets....it's the way to go in the city being the "other guys".
  8. Zorhan is still playing. The list was"CSA Black History (Retired)"
  9. The schedule allows them to be at a better venue...downtown.
  10. Why strange, you feel like they aren't really....Canadian? lol. For me, I appreciate them a little more. It's almost like coming to know more about their roots.
  11. Off the top of my head from who you didn't mentioned...Big dog Ali Gerba, Nana Attakora, Simeon Jackson, Tosaint Ricketts and Tam Nsaliwa. It's funny that you put the question mark for Dero. His parents I think were Portuguese Guyanese and I know they wouldn't consider themselves "black". But I would guess Dero does, his wife and kids are.
  12. A lot of guys were saying LDF could/should be a starter.
  13. @SthMelbRed Did you choose to ignore when this point was brought? Or were you sobering up from the weekend's festivities with the AFC taking place? Or will you say Cavalry had no part in Zator, Waterman, or Loturi getting CMNT caps? @Unnamed Trialist Your takes are consistently insipid, and they are prepubescent for an old man like yourself. I felt like responding with the same juvenile take like "go suck your mom"... but lord knows if she's still on this earth. Oops I guess I did. It's cowardly and juvenile to send insults over the internet. I hate fake tough guys and bullies and that's exactly what you are here. Guess that brings you life. But back on topic, the Irish are coming to Canada.
  14. What happened to LDF being our best CB prospect? A lot of guys were saying that...
  15. I left out "in recent times" I should've mentioned. Zator, Loturi, Waterman vs Ahmed.... But tell me how stupid I am now.
  16. Sounds cynical, but to me I've actually rated him everytime he's played for Canada. I think his passing range from deep, and his willingness to just sit in front of the defence could free up Kone and Staq a bit.
  17. Liam caused their opener. he gets credited for the assist from Will Keane redirecting his shot. https://streamin.me/v/5d76c69b 1-1 @ the half.
  18. Woah, you assumed I was talking about you 😜
  19. Panama is ranked higher than us too, but I expect us to beat them based on the quality we have vs them. Same thing goes for Chile and Peru.
  20. Wow, a lot of people think 1pt is a success. Very interesting. And we're hoping to not be embarrassed at WC26?
  21. Spanish people doing Spanish things. Weird isn’t the word I would use on so many levels, but I’ll see the positive as they took a different culture and appropriated the song for him. That whole robe choir shit is for black American churches, you will rarely/never see that in Canada. The song “don’t worry be happy” was performed by a 8th generation American trying to mimic Jamaican reggae music.
  22. Wicked penalty on so many levels. Who’s here thinks he should be called up for Trinidad?
  23. I don’t think anyone could doubt Davies raw talent, as it matched his trajectory/where he is today. His talent did the walking per se. However I wont take the Whitecaps …. For giving him the opportunity to express himself. It an alternate situation, Davies leaves and makes another way and is the main guy playing for Liberia in the AFCON. There’s definitely variables for a few situations, as some players develop differently than others and we see this often at who gets called at the youth levels only to disappear before U23.
