I disagree with the little man big man in a 442. IMO the 442 is a thing of the past in its own self...off the top of my head, I can't think of any club or country that deploys it. You'll rarely see two 6 foot something guys leading the line, because there less nimble or quick with their feet, but correct me if I'm wrong. And while you're right about Bair getting the "real shot first" as I was someone advocating for him a lot when guys were saying the SPL was shit ....Tani came in and got more minutes than him. We talk about England bias, but what makes Daniel Jebbison a better player than Promise David? I'm curious to know what your analysis is. Lastly, 21 vs 23 isn't a massive age gap either. Form is everything for me, and I feel like with all the talent we have on the "same" level our squad should reflect that.

While you're right, but 2 inches is a big deal and we've barely seen Bair. I just want to increase the odds of a real big man playing with David (especially in a 442), as I think Larins time as the guy is waning.

No he wasn't, he was in the Euro 2020 squad as a 20yo. Him and Jude were the youngest in the squad both coming from Dortmund. He didn't play because of guys like Raheem, Grealish, Saka, Rashford.

I think this isn't true....at all. You would agree that the PL has been the best league for quite awhile now. With that, it would make sense that they would pick their "best players" from the best league. Also, to further challenge your point. Jadon Sancho and Jude were in the squad playing at Dortmund. Trippier was in the squad at Atletico. Tomori got called up when Milan won the league (you gotta earn it, playing abroad in inferior leagues). I think it's just rare that English players play abroad if it's not for a European juggernaut (Real Madrid, Bayern Munich).

Italian football is another one of those nations who believe in keeping things pure. Majority of the times their teams are made up of predominantly Serie A players, as it seems like it's a philosophy to favour the domestic based players. They've won that way, so they believe they can win again with the same formula - and hey I don't knock it. So I'll be overly surprised to see an Italian team with names like Udogie, Keane, Foloronsho, Gnotto, and Koleosho - all guys who should be in their squad except for maybe 1. I ultimately think he plays for the USA in the end as their wide depth is very limited, and the Poch pull.

Remember guys, not to many players make the career that he has after a really bad injury at as a teenager - but here he is today. I don't know about you, but when I saw guys with this brace on I would say "give it up". Tajon is resilient, and fearless so I'm not worried about him getting back to physical shape, just moreso getting the opportunity to display his talents.

We play with two forwards, so yea you're right. Lille - Mallorca, Lille - Auxerre, Auxerre-Sparta Rotterdam, Sparta-USG...a lot of our strikers are playing D1 Football.
