  1. It's okay... as long as he's healthy for c Canada. We know, they know, he knows that he's gone in the summer so they want to play their more "committed" players. I'm actually happy that a Bayern are doing horribly this season, because Harry Kane was expecting some easy silverware
  2. He should be called over Cavallini because he's Jamaican descent and Jamaicans and Trinis have a fierce (friendly) rivalry. Sounds stupid right? Kinda like the whole speaking Spanish thing.
  3. Naw. Maybe post 2026. Because in 2024, and 2025 aka current future....those guys can't displace those two at those positions for me right now. I need more consistency from both of them (Corbeanu specifically) to justify that move. It reminds me of me having to play defence for my Sunday league team (when I'm an attacker) because we are short on defence and IQ. I'm of the belief that you don't sacrifice offence at the sake of defence. .... However I will dispute what I'm saying by stating "what we haven't tried, we don't know what could work"
  4. Henry has been there since the team inception, and is 30. He wants to make a "lateral" move to the USL. Let the man get his last biggest paycheck. Woobens spent only 2 seasons at Forge and is 22. He's making an upward move to MLS and his future could be with the CMNT. Make the MLS pay as they would make another club pay.
  5. Could a middle three of Kone-Staq-Ahmed work? I feel they are all too similar.
  6. So he was given a 2+1 contract? And it was never mentioned? The way I see it Forge should be compensated for something for Woobens. Henry is a different story imo.
  7. Contradicting himself a lot. I appreciate the ""reporters"" asking those questions, but a quick follow-up could've been. I don't understand how this guy keeps getting coaching reigns. I honestly think a guy like Patrice would do well with our youth national teams. Surely he could double as both.
  8. It's so unusual that he's the only guy I'm interested in. (And there's a lot of new names)
  9. Apparently, he has played for MX youth teams as well. https://pumas.mx/noticias/1962/pablo-lara-y-santiago-lópez-a-la-selección-mexicana-sub-18 Would be very interesting to hear his eligibility and why he's giving Canada a chance this early.
  10. Bair was the same. While I understand that goals are important to a forward, but there are other components to why a coach will continue to use a player that isn't scoring. I'll be honest, and say I haven't watched much of his games but from the one I saw he combines well with the midfield.
  11. You started off saying that he isn't a 9 [has to be the 2nd or even 3rd piece in attack], and then finished it by saying he is the best 9 in Concacaf. I agree with what you initially stated by saying that he's a great reader of the game, and good at finding the half spaces, especially in the transitional attack, but to me that kind of contradicts him of being a 9....(or I guess he's the infamous false 9). His finishing is one of the best in Concacaf, but I do wonder if he could play as a 10 for Canada because the IQ things you have stated.
  12. LDF (19), JKL (18), and Bombito (23) are definite potential in comparison to the names you mentioned. I agree there isn't any studs in the back but we do have a lot of options that get minutes from McGraw, Corneilius, Kennedy, Miller, MacNaughton, or Heibert.
  13. Me too! We complain about a lack of defenders or centre-backs specifically, but we are actually thinner in the midfield positions.
  14. Sadly It's Europe, MLS or no ratings for the CMNT.
  15. Theos rise, is more of a testament to his manager imo. I watched majority of games where he was starting and not scoring. He always had the effort, but was always short on the finish. I think now, and watching the Ross county game...he's oozing with confidence and belief and to me if the manager never stuck with him or gave him St. Johnstonne like minutes he wouldn't be in the form he is in today. So props to Theo, but equal to the manager for believing in him.
  16. You guys are crazy putting our best 1v1 attackers behind role players. I am a Corbeanu fan for his attacking flair....but no way am I putting him in a position that I know Tajon is wayyyy better at. He's an attacker who's been out at RB/RWB. Millar there is an argument, but Theo...cut it out. He hasn't done enough at the professional level to warrant this. If we're talking 2028 okay cool.
  17. Godinho...I think a chance to bring in Farsi!
  18. Spending over night definitely means concussion... he could be out for the play-in as those effects don't wear off that quickly.
  19. I have to watch him again, but he's solid build with no mobility. For that I put him way down on the CB list of 97' born LCB.
  20. I tuned in early and stopped watching early.... from the goal post you put, looks like they have filled in.
