  1. Sad but I rather see Lucas Pos then Heibert...I don't think he's better than any of the other guys in his age year and position. (Miller, Corneilius, Kennedy, McGraw)
  2. I like this thought. It's hard to gauge this level for many reasons, but the main thing is that they dominated whatever was put in front of them...similar to the senior path as you mentioned. I do wonder how this team can be stronger if guys like Tahid, Kane or LDF joined and who would be dropped. Mission accomplished. Great little warm up games, but we know at this age our boys typically struggle against the CR, Panama, Honduras, Mexico and USA...let's hope some things have changed.
  3. I know his Dad, Wayne Morgan he's an older GS United guy (same Scarborough Club DeRo reps). He's been humbly hyping up his son for a good while, and he's from the UK so I'm sure he had his documents ready for this move someday.
  4. I thought it was a stupid point because all referees can speak English regardless if it's ESL. And seeing how are team is, they don't fear anybody like we may have seen in the past so trying to justify a call up because they speak "Spanish" was dumb to me. VAR kind of eliminated the dark arts, now it's just about collectively backing each other and we have that in the brotherhood.
  5. In Europe it's illegal too. That's what agents are for. Teams/coaches can't directly contact players.
  6. Hala Madrid. They are going to be so entertaining to watch. They are a RB away (and they can ride out with Dani) from building another potential dynasty. Knowing we'll have a Canadian apart of that is unreal.
  7. This is my biggest frustration with him. You would think that in his contract year, and after being shipped out for shitting the bed, he would put in the necessary work to be physically in his prime...but nope he looks the same. You're not the overgrown kid playing with other kids smaller than you...you are now the overweight and overpaid man who's career is going to take a 180 turn. At 24, 5'10 and 200Lbs and an ACL injury...I hope he has done well with his money because he'll either be in the CPL/USL or someone will give him a veterans 90K minimum (what Kerr who is 2 years younger is currently being paid)
  8. Good replacement for Laryea. But sadly he won't be picked up by an American team it seems.
  9. He wore that for about 10 mins and took it off.
  10. Goalie thought there was a whistle blown and put th ball down for his defender. Good awareness by Lopez.
  11. Fun fact. Morgan did the DeRo shake and bake celebration, a node to the guy who got him into TFC academy as he's a product of DeRo TFC.
  12. Lastly mental fortitude is huge, and I keep reading about how players struggled to assimilate with this at so and so move. We as fans think it's a blessing to be a professional footballer (and it is) but they are still humans who have to make choices that are good for their life. ....I saw this video last night, and as tough as I like to be it brought a tear to my eye. It reminded me that somethings are not always as they seem.
  13. Comfort, familiarity, and stability. But someone will say he's stupid and should've stayed to fight at Forrest.
  14. He's essentially the 3rd GK. I think Gravan is the number 2.
  15. Where he belongs... https://www.nationalworld.com/sport/football/exclusive-nottingham-forest-defender-set-to-complete-move-to-toronto-fc-4531067
  16. Johnston and Miller came from Vaughan, and weren't intl signings on Orlando or Nashville. Kaye was a TFC product. I feel like Jazic, DeRo, and Serioux weren't considered internationals ...I could be wrong though.
  17. Where the hell is this guy. Malik Johnston He hasn't played in going on 2 years! I thought he would've been perfect for a CPL side.
  18. Let's hope Canadians Daniel Nimick, TJ Tahid, Kevaughn Tavenier, James Cameron, Kwasi Poku, Rayane Yesli, Max Ferrari, and Noah Abatneh who are all young guys....are either good enough to get a move beyond MLS or a MLS team is willing to use an international spot on them. From history and off the top of my head, Andre Hainault, Steven Vitoria, Nana Attakora, Marcel De Jong, Kyle Porter, and Zorhan Bassong* are guys who played on non Canadian teams and counted as internationals. I'm not sure if guys like Bent, Watson, and Jakovic counted as they were drafted. But a 10 year span and there's only been about 5 signings from American teams. Gambia has almost double that number.
