  1. Will release it soon, working on a little video.
  2. I would love to go to see all of Canadas group stage games. What that looks like, I don’t knowww yet. Me and my brother are definitely trying to go. I just don’t know where to go for tickets/accommodations. This is all brand new to me.
  3. There's been reports that he'll be back, albeit not as a DP. I don't know how that will work...but yea. It's believable for me because of the Bradleys and the relationship/history with Jozy to not see a favourable situation.
  4. They might even get a new DP & keep Altidore is what it's sounding like. In addition to Akinola apparently also resigning. If all this is true, he'll probably be given an early chance, before the DPs come in the summer.
  5. The U20 camp will be very interesting.
  6. Definitely, he was surrounded by so much more quality players is the reason why he's forgotten. Aside from being a Madrid fan, I liked him a lot. He was Busquets of todays game, just overshadowed by the amount of quality that was on the galaticos. But it's safe to say he was one of the most consistent players on that team.
  7. He has the Messi contract, where in it states CMNT first Brugge second…. So he’ll be alright 🤣
  8. Fucking can’t stand Salazar. He just talks out of his ass for talking sake. These rankings are bs.
  9. Spots 1-18 are already guaranteed barring any injuries or healthy issues. The rest are up for grabs. Meaning Corbeanu can definitely put himself in the mix depending on his next 10-11 months as suggested by @EJsens1. I believe he will be our next star attacker, and it’s very possible we see him in Qatar.
  10. ….Except for MTL fans 🤭😁
  11. Simply put. It’s a culmination of the culture that we as Canadians can’t relate with. It’s happened all over the world, where football is intertwined with politics, belief and where you’re from. The clubs sometimes represent that. Celtic/ Rangers Paris/Marseille Persepolis/Esteghal Boca/Riverplate Galatasaray/Fenerbache It’s a sad reality. ….p.s. I don’t know how anyone would think about going to Honduras in current situations absent this.
  12. You’re right it is easily biased. To see/enjoy the other parts of the country, and their stadiums while watching a CMNT match? Albeit the weather, I enjoyed the game in Edmonton. I was prepared to travel to Vancouver as well (reminds me I need to cancel my flight and accoms). But I understand you’re sentiment, as it may be a while till you see a game in your city.
  13. As a Toronto kid, I resonate with this sentiment. Especially with the CPL, and teams like Forge coming through and playing an attractive brand with Canadian ballers - my interest is in all things Canadian football first. And yes TFC has been successful in the past years, to me it’s “real” when it’s done with a significant amount of Canadians regularly playing/contributing - we haven’t seen that yet. And I know I’m suppose to hate our little bastard brother in MTL, but I’ve had a low-key affinity for them since their first CCL run in 2009 when they shut out Santos Laguna in leg 1 with 8 Canadian guys starting or featuring in that game. (Sebrango, Braz, Grande, Placentinno, Pizzolitto, Byers, Deroux, Brilliant). That was all before the team was in MLS! So how can you not get/be happy when the opps are playing and being successful with the Canadian bred boys.
  14. This, considering he has 1 year left on his MLS deal. This could potentially be a horrible move for the Impact.
  15. I can guarantee you they won’t be considered for that list. As they both are too old. 21 & 20 respectfully.
  16. what about Tiago Coimbra? the Canadian-Brazilian kid at Palmeiras. Definitely would be someone who is contacted to be in the 50 player U-20 database.
  17. I would break this up into two categories, considering we’ll be drawn against an Ocho opponent and a minnow. Tier 2: @ Saputo Stadium vs El Salvador, Jamaica, Panama, or Honduras Tier 3: @ IG Field vs Suriname, Curaçao, Martinique, or Grenada. I think as time goes by, BC place might be the forgotten gem, solely because there isn’t enough guys from BC in the program to advocate for games to be there. BMO will continue to get frequent games for various reasons. If ever BC place got grass, it would change the topic for sure.
  18. And with them being in league A of the nations league, it makes it even harder for them to “warm up to each other” or “carve out an identity”. I think they’ll be hoping to draw teams who have qualified for Qatar, as the player selection might be a factor for those squads. However, they are starting now and that is key to their future success. I’m all for Concacaf getting better.
  19. We know the Jamaica game in March will most likely be at BMO. So where would you want the coming nations league home games or possible friendlies to be played? (Try to put your bias aside T.O, MTL, Van folks)
  20. Also it’s possible we play them again in the Nations league this summer. A game like that should go to Winnipeg or Ottawa (if we are still worrying about time zones)
  21. As does Venezuela no? To @Califaxpoint, conembol has been looking for more “quality” opponents. They can take Guyana too while they are it.
  22. And this is exactly what I've been saying. If Dunn passes on Canada, it means we had a a minimum of 5 centre backs that have magically appeared. Edit...I now know Simon Preston just looks on Transfermarket and names the potential guys who can represent Jamaica. He's never watched him play, but calling him talented.
