In less than 12 months....Saka, Smith-Rowe, Eze, Gallagher, and Elliot have all emerged as real talents in the "pinnacle league" in addition to what they already have. So it's very easy to not give a shit. I suspect a lot more will continue to be recruited, especially with their new manager being Jamish. It just might be a little too late. As a Canadian-Jamaican I would love to see Jamaica qualify - but not at the expense of Canada fuck that.

This happens already, but the difference is these guys are being brought to the academies (younger age, example being Jebbison). The reality is most foreign player plying their trade in England/Spain/Germany are most likely internationals before they move to those leagues. The hoarding of talent, is typically done at the younger ages, and less likely when a player is over the age of 25.

It's his versatility for me that makes him attractive. Versatility seems like it's a prerequisite to be in the team.

Leave Ugbo out of it. He lived and played in the country at least. He has Canadian memories that he can refer to.

Player 1: - Has played for another country at the youth level - Has migrated to Canada at 22, and has played the last 5 years in the country - Stays in Canada during the offseason and acclimatizes to the culture - Is a Canadian citizen - Wants to play for the CMNT at age 26 Player 2: - Has played for another country at the youth level - Has a Canadian parent so is eligible to play for Canada - Has never stepped foot in the country - Wants to play for CMNT at age 28 - Has played for the CMNT Of these two players, which player would you say has "literally no connection to Canada)

I’m open to making things better, and giving my hand where needed. I gotta say the feeling I got of “shways holding the votes” I didn’t like lol, but understood because I didn’t communicate what my idea was. And with the year we had, it definitely was a fueled by anticipation only to be subdued by the expected result. (Davies wasn’t my number 1) I think a trophy is needed aswell, I designed it and seeked pricing to get an idea to propose to guys like buzz, but that sheit was too expensive to even propose. And then I thought there’s got be some craftsmen here. We gotta have that CPL mantra of by us for us.

Man I would no way call myself a video editor. Tbh this was my first video lol, and I don’t like doing it - especially doing it for the good of the community. I thought we would enjoy something like this as oppose to how it’s typically done. Secondly part of my mindset of contributing to the football community/ the voyageurs in whatever way I can. However, I definitely wouldn’t do this in isolation again as it’s just better to do things like this without a sole onus. @dyslexic nam I always appreciate criticism, positive or negative. Growing up in a close big family has prepared me for that, and I hold no grudges when it may be something I don’t want to hear. To my main point of doing this presentation, I had this epiphany to myself of what skills can I lend to grow/help with Voyageurs or my local football community beyond simply engaging in conversation and being reactive to measures that are done (everybody had ideas and suggestions for ticketing after it became a “mess”). This video isn’t something I do, but I did it in effort to contribute to evolving the things we do and see around here. So a challenge to the frequent posters, members new and old. What can you do to better support this group. Is it donating? Is it volunteering when hands are needed? Is it offering your talents and skills? We all come from different backgrounds, and I’m sure we can come together to evolve all aspects. Don’t complain if you don’t contribute. (Forgive me if members of the leadership think Im overstating myself - I’m only speaking from the heart)

Maybe it’s just me, but in that video everybody looks the same size. Remember Olympic qualifiers were U24 last year, and we played Haiti, El Salvador, and Honduras, and Mexico. I think you guys are a little undersizing what he was up against - even Tajon looked small. The Haitians and Hondurans were all big guys.

I think having 4 nations to choose from will be the norm for kids born in 2005 and on? Especially if you are born in multicultural cities like GTA, London, Paris etc.
