that's the world we live.... back in 2014 when the Miami heat were the best team, my friends and I paid for platinum seats to the game. A half time the "Cher Club" opens up (its basically a club inside the Scotiabank) that isn't available to all....they spent the rest of the game inside their, watching the game on the TV screens. Those amenities are literally for the people who don't really care about the sport, want to show their status and are just there to have conversation.

I was thinking two separate camps. One in Europe (A team) where two friendlies could be schedule, and one in Concacaf (B team) to play the NL games. ....but then again Herdman may not want that.

With all these names popping out of nowhere, gotta feel like when this list is released there will be a lot of guys that are left out. Which could lead to sentiments like Mitrovic or Yankov. Broken record warning.....but with our future so bright, I hope we continue to shine a light on our youth teams. It's so important for there to be multiple ID camps at the various ages. These 1 camp and then the final squad is made will keep the cracks that will have guys slipping through the system without adequate or any assessment.

Great idea! Now I hope this is the case so that I can package this with a visit to my other brother in the UK. Just don't see how feasible it'll be with the June window...unless!!! We play a B team, and send the A team to Europe!

I don’t know about the other shit you are on about, but I gotta say I agree with the Onesoccer bit. I just pray they get on the mainstream tv, or a partnership with the other broadcasters to continue to maximize their presence as a proper football station. Reality is they were the only ones to invest in Canada soccer when no one else was around or willing. They saw the opportunity. Foreign folks. Not the money-sucking Canadian telecom peeps taking advantage of Canadians. The reality is, with the WC Qualification the CPL can only gain from this momentum.

A lot were sceptical of him, myself included. The time it changed for me, was when he stopped with the Davies at leftback bullshit (I hated the reasoning he was selling too)….but that’s when I became a full believer. Edit….oh yea and the back 3 that was consistently deployed. I was clamouring for that for a long time, and I still believe it gets our best players on the pitch.
