  1. I agree. I think everyone on this forum rates Millar highly. Brym is now in the better league. And if he continues his form, paired with his versatility - will get him in. Millar is strictly a LW, whereas Brym can play across the front 3.
  2. Of this list, unless something catastrophic happens…Millar, and Akinola are the only ones that I would say aren’t guaranteed to be going. (Increased roster sizes might change that) Akinola would have to go on a run of smashing the net, and Millar would have to have a better season than he had this year. Of the three Brym is the most versatile, and will now be playing in a better league. His fate is in his hands, he just needs consistent minutes and the rest will follow.
  3. TLDR…but you should read the other posts. Basically it’s highly possible that the jersey they are currently wearing is THEE World Cup jersey, and we won’t see another till next year.
  4. I hate the kid. But if he was Canadian I would love him. I like his tenaciousness in the attack. I think he’s there second best player after McKinnie. His style is similar to Tajon, it’s just he’s able to do it across the front three and effectively through the middle. So tbh, it’s the Canadian mindset where some would see that as arrogance and not confidence. But anyways fuck him and them.😁
  5. Due to not enough money. But this would’ve been perfect for a real U-20 team. Yea there’s nothing that this group could prepare for, but it’s about the consistent exposure of our players and our program. Especially with the age group that missed out on into international ball due to Covid.
  6. Interesting.... Like no banners on the street post? No bus stop advertisements? No commercials on Sports TV? Zero...Nada....absolutely nothing?
  7. C'Mon Vancouverites make your province proud, and show out for your country. You're not a small town city! If they can show up for a CWNT friendly vs Nigeria (20K) then they definitely should sellout the bottom even if it's Curacao. "An excuse is a smokescreen for the deceived" ....I do feel like hindsight will be "we should've played this in Montreal".
  8. With Osorio out, and limited guys capable of playing in the “10”….I hope we see David drop in behind the strikers behind the likes of Larin and Ugbo.
  9. Reality is with the loss of a game, we're likely to see less squad rotation. Meaning I won't be surprised to not see some guys play (Edwards, Brym, Henry...would put Cavallini but I think he sees time against Curacao at home)
  10. Or this one.... guys just leave this thread alone, please do it for the children.
  11. What's done is done....can we continue the convo of what's actually happening?
  12. This entire forum should be moved to this thread.... Oh what a coincidence I created it, in a sub forum far away from this one. Just so it's not missed 😁.
  13. Yea Jack....I'm going to say you are lost on this. I get where you started with "none of these games are going to have a material effect on our performance in Qatar" but playing a womens team ....well thats when you lost me. Only our U15 team should play our CWNT. Any other way wouldn't be a showcase for the women, as it would be a blowout and wouldn't do the men any justice.
  14. No, no I do not. You clearly have an affinity for Iniesta. (great player, but clearly past it, but that's what we got MLS for)
  15. Cmon on bro....give me a real one. I've only seen it common in the case "Brazil U20 vs Manchester United"
  16. Ethiopia, Bolivia, Isle of Man there's some more - take your pick. MLS, Lativian, Iceland, Korean club - take your pick Not really possible, these things are organized well ahead of time. The only "viable" option would be the CPL. None of these are really viable but absolute desperate situations that imo would be worth the expense. Mine aswell put that money towards a U23 camp, and play any of those opponents you suggested.
