  1. I would assume his agent is trying to get him elsewhere...but would go back if nothing else materializes. Still think he's someone who deserves a look, and hopefully his next move will allow that...but with shinny young dual prospects it makes it harder for him.
  2. It’s sad that’s the only way we have camps for this age group. We should frequent u23 tournaments regardless of it being a qualifying year. But that’s an idea, as I’m asking to much.
  3. Two of these names were in the squad? Listen I understand what people are saying, but from what we seen Abatneh and Coimbra aren’t deserving of that criticism. The rest in Assi, Zouhir, Wright, Ferdinand, Catavolo, Poku, Habibullah, Mbongue, Campagna, Ferdinand…(did I miss anyone) have all been seen with substantial minutes.
  4. I hope to see our best from the start. We didn’t look like we were playing at 4-3-3, it looked more like a 4-5-1. But here’s my XI… —————Wright————— Habibullah——————Assi —————Zouhir—————— ——Poku—————Smith Abatneh-Campagna-KL-Franklin If we play with that middle we had to start last game, we will get St Kittsed.
  5. I keep seeing this overhyped players comments. Who’s the overhyped guys that haven’t been seen playing? Pelligrino, Costa, Knight-Lebel, who else? The majority have been seen/or capable of being seen, and have performed well at their respective levels for their age. Maybe the statement should be that guys are overhyping the leagues? But even then I’ll disagree.
  6. There’s no such thing. There is only opportunists that take the hat when it’s fitting.
  7. Facking hell. I was talking out of my ass. I stand corrected. But okay so we did it once before, and that’s reason for that it will never work? I think this squad has the most professional experience we’ve ever seen. Slapping guys together and saying go let’s make magic will never work.
  8. What cycles? You’re talking out your ass. We’ve never had multiple camps at the youth level before a tournament. Never.
  9. And I thought St James Park looked weird. It’s a beauty compared to this.
  10. I stated this, but the starting XI was a horrible decision. Why didn’t we have the best guys out there from the start? The reality is, a lot of these guys are laying with eachother for the first time, while we know the Cuban team has been preparing. Preparation is fucking key! Im disappoint at the result, but I’m not shocked at how we looked. One camp with 6 guys of the final roster not at that camp. We’re expecting revolutionary results, from the same ole bullshit.
  11. Pelligrino and Henry are hurting in the midfield. Losing possession way too much.
  12. Are we playing a 433? I think this starting lineup is questionable. Should’ve started our strongest guys, get on the front foot and then make changes. Now we are chasing the game.
  13. Lol…clearly you don’t know who’s who. CPLs - Poku, and Catavolo has looked good. MLSNextPro player is Hugo mbongue, and he hasn’t gotten any service. Campagna hasnt been noticeable, which isn’t bad defensively.
  14. Definitely looks like the coaching staff aren’t trying to show their best hand for the second game.
  15. He’s having a laugh man, classic Javi post.
  16. He would have to…….scary music...DEFEND
  17. How about Davies goes to a club where he can play LW, and you know not be the LB in the best left sided attack. I get he still has time, but I definitely want him further up the pitch to be THAT guy…. Left backs are never that…if you know what I mean.
  18. meh those american podcasts don't know shit outside of their guys. grain of salt. Their coaching staff will be saying otherwise. TBH i kinda hope we don't show our hand too much in the first game against them, as we know we might have to play them again.
  19. University of Manitoba legend!
  20. While I agree with the competition aspect that Jebbison has, I will say he brings something different than a lot of those guys. His size and speed is the obvious. The argument of Koleosho having an easier time getting minutes in the side, I don't agree with. We have a lot of wing/wide options vs number 9's. JD, and Larin aren't guys who I would classify as classic #9's. Ugbo, Cavallini, and Akinola yes. Compare Jebbison to those guys and it's different conversation. (more so Akinola vs Jebbison) The guy who I think would have it the easiest would be Mitrovic...but that's another story.
