Anyone else think the Forge badge is a poor excuse for a club badge?

Yah that's great. Hopefully were at that point now. It's hard to think anyone who's been paying attention wouldn't agree that the CPL is an awesome league that's here to stay. Loan your players to the CPL if you want them to get better. You agree right?
As a Whitecaps fan I'm hoping 3 or 4 of our young residency players end up on loan to the CPL next year. Hopefully all MLS teams consider this, especially the Canadian teams

This is how Sporsnet operates.  This is how ESPN operates.  TSN is not doing anything different from comparable entities.  I don't know why this is still a shock to people.

Overhead? Are you kidding me? It's re-watching the game, looking at the replays, something that should already be a part of ref evaluation. It's a few hours of extra work at most.

As far as the real game? What? How is players striking other players when the back is turned part of the game? How is diving part of the game, and should be rewarded? How is injuring people needlessly part of the game? Getting these items out of the game, should be everyone's priority and frankly, striking other players and clear dives are unambiguous, as is actually causing an injury.

The CPL suspended Bekker retroactively correctly for an elbow which should have been a Red in the inaugural match so the mechanism is there!

The CPL must have some mechanism for reviewing/punishing things post game.  Maybe a couple of post game reds/suspensions for diving and or dangerous tackles etc would help clean up some stuff.  I get that the res are hesitant to hand out diving yellows in real time as they can be so hard to judge, but after the game it can be obvious when the gamesmanship is excessive.  Just because our teams will run into this in CONCACAF is no reason to have it in our league.

You're right, but this is a rare time I'd like to see us stand on principal, set an example and showed the world "We started reviewing and punishing diving, and it cleaned it up and got it out of the game" and then maybe some other nations start doing the same.

If I had to pick one, it would be hoops, because there is more history. For example the old Football Tigers and the infamous 60s-80s Tiger-Cats with the hoops on the sleeves.

Additionally the old Hamilton Tigers hockey club had an affinity for hoops in their later years

the same jersey that the Bulldogs of today have as their 3rd jersey.

and of course the single white hoop of the Hamilton Steelers

Generally the only time stripes have been used were the first Hamilton Tigers hockey team run.

Pros: Great selection of craft beer with seemingly no macro swill, good food selection (although I didn't get chance to pertake as I wanted to), and relatively easy to move around.

Cons: No really indicators where your seats are upon entry, track between the pitch hampers the view, pitch is really small.

Typical upper Canadian attitude. They would rather electric heated seats and marble washrooms equipped with bidets while Maritimesers would prefer the packed stadium, electric atmosphere and hard cold steel stands

As far as which side, there was still snow on the other side, and while I feel soccer should start up in May and end in October in Canada, you play the hand you are dealt. At least they have a stadium that can accommodate both sides, and has turf immune to the weather.

Second, lets be honest here guys. Between Investors group field and Tim Hortons Field, it's wishful thinking that there aren't going to be games where the stands don't look good. Heck, there are "sellouts" of Ti-Cat games and TFC games where the stands don't good with attendances apparently in the 20,000+ range.
