Blackdude got a reaction from QBCS in The Importance of Alphonso Davies
I think it is. If Zlatan made the ad, it would be the same thing. I know that they over hype a lot of things. Maybe it's also the fact that Davies will be leaving at the end of the year. And it doesn't at all mention pro soccer. Only mentions being a refugee and making the natonal team. If you find me an ad from a rival company that MLS hyped on their site, please show me where.

Did Grizzly sacrifice his time on the forum to negotiate a move to Chemie?

I don't think that he'd be eligible for a club for the current season mainly because he's already played European football since January. I know they changed the rules that players can play for their new club if transferred in January, but this would be a new interpretation and we still don't know how transfer windows will work because of what happened. To be fair, this season has been unique and I don't think that we can compare it to anything that has happened before. UCL didn't exist 100 years ago.

Not to really worry about it if he goes there. It's not like he's going to Lokomotiv. RB is not really Leipzig.

It's probably because it won't be shut down quickly. I know that people have had issues just retweeting a youtube video of David scoring a goal from an unofficial source. I wouldn't retweet any youtube video having anything with Belgian soccer unless it's by the club or the league itself.

Pretty sure that Larin was with them before he signed MLS. IIRC, Larin was close to signing in Belgium before MLS beefed up their offer.

In Belgium call leagues like that MLS would be the US Championship like the Premier League would be the English Championship and Ligue 1 the French Championship. It's nothing surprising here.

Interview with XI MTL. He mentions that he wants to stay in Gent for another year and he never considered MLS.

I know, but Barco is mostly here for his Argentina U20 performances and he has a lot of appearances in Argentina.'s top division and he was already a highly-thoughted prospect when he came to Atlanta. As good as Davies is, I don't know how much stock you can put in on a MLS-developed player since not a lot of them have had success. David has more since he plays in Belgium and we've seen great players coming up from the Belgian League. We just haven't seen some from MLS. (I know about Almiron, but Almiron was not developed in MLS, he was 23 when he came into MLS)
(And yes, I call Whitecaps academy MLS)

Yeah, it's wrong. If you have the same thing as I'm seeing, it puts 2 defenders and a midfielder up top.

Okay, but I think the difference is that Belgium league can give a night off to their top players if they play a bottom of the table team because Gent is that much better than Mechelen or Eupen and focus on Europe. The gap between Atlanta United and San Jose is not as big. We know the gap between MLS and Liga MX is shrinking. And MLS teams are taking the tournament seriously. The big problems that MLS has compared to Belgium is development, because they're too worried about. I think it's more due to the lack of depth for teams in the middle/bottom of the pack in Belgium compared to those in MLS.

They had as many points that season (10) than all the Belgium champs in the 2 seasons before and after in the Group Stage (That's 4 Champions' League Campaigns). That's why I don't think that domestically, the Belgian League is better than MLS. DC United is a much better team than Eupen. That's what I'm saying. MLS's system makes it that the worst team is still not that bad while BElgium's first division has a lot of teams that aren'T good. I do like that their top 6 teams are playing each other at the end of the season to determine their champion which makes for higher competition if they make it, but if they don't, I don't think that it's better to be in the Europa League qualification bracket.

It's not higher. I think Gent would be a good MLS team. I don't think that they would be the top team. So I disagree it being higher. Also, can you give me something that proves that MLS. And you still haven proven that Belgium is a higher league than MLS aside from the fact that you hate MLS. Seriously, I don't think Obinna's take is wrong, because it is similar. It's not like he's playing Anderlecht every week.

It is because he played in official competitions for both countries.

I do think that if you've played for another national team, youth level or otherwise, you should be excluded until you play for Canada. Ranjitsingh has played for another country before and that's why I wouldn't put him on the list because odds are that he'll stay for the same program.

That's a question that is needed to ask. Should we have a rule on what kind of players are on the list? I'll be honest, I like madmonte's rule. Canadian until proven otherwise by playing on another national team.
