It was an olimpico.  No one was at the near post.  Also this should be the biggest crowd of the season.  Absolutely jammed in the stadium.

Vancouver's goalkeeper is all too obviously not coping well with the left footed inswinging corners from Iliadis (note to Onsoccer announcer: it's only an olympico if it goes straight in) but there's still no adjustment away from leaving the posts undefended.

Noone mentions the penalty which is closer to a shameless dive and the linesman playing mute. Cpl linesman and women are extremely passive.
