Gian-Luca
As nice as the win is, the biggest plus for me was the play of Ahmed and Choiniere as players adding significant depth to the team- especially as they are the two who would likely not have been starting if everyone was healthy (ie Kone and Tajon). narduch
Part of the reason Larin still starts is that no other striker below in our depth chart has done enough at club or country to surpass him. That being said I really want to see more of Russell-Rowe but Marsch seems to have favored Oluwaseyi as the 3rd choice Edited September 7 by narduch ahmedou, Corazon and The Real Marc 2
Floortom
Hilarious overreaction from Americans. Apparently this was their worst performance of all-time 😂 Dominic94, narduch, Vasi and 5 others 2
Shway
I don't know...I can be the only one. But this was the first time we won in the states in what 75+ years?...and it felt like it was inevitable from the start. This win wasn't a surprise for me, and it wasn't played like one. Neil R.
Fantastic result. What a dominant first half. We closed this match out really well. So many times in the final 5-10 minutes, I was saying to myself: "This is exactly what we should have done in second half stoppage time in the Uruguay match." Nice to see those lessons learned and implemented at the first available opportunity. I like what this victory does for us psychologically. The guys have proven to each other they can defeat the US on their home soil. This was the perfect time to clear that hurdle with Nations League and the Gold Cup coming up. goleafs67, Corazon, Bison44 and 5 others 7
eramosat
And because of where Canada is in the FIFA rankings, and how bunched it it...this is gonna be an outsized jump for a simple friendly. More fun. Canuckia and jhoops__

SpursFlu
That was a great feeling. We're just good now and if doesn't need to be the same starting 11. We have legit depth ahmedou, Canuckia and Corazon

Tani seems to generate good chances (the way he turned the the two US defenders was impressive) - it is just his finishing that may need a bit of work. Either way, it is a good problem to have. 74 Whitecap, narduch, Dominic94 and 4 others 6

We have legit depth That is one of the good things for me. We moaned about how Davies needs to play wing and yet we have Shaff and Millar pushing each other to claim that spot and both seem to do well (I rate Liam more than some here - I think he brings a lot in terms of team play). We can also now lose guys like Tajon and Kone and we have capable replacements that don’t put us at a disadvantage. And even if a guy like Alistair gets injured you have really solid players like Richie ready to step in. We may not have the same depth as the US in terms if sheer quantity but you only need enough to be able to field a competitive team even when some starters are injured. dyslexic nam
Full credit to FotMob - they clearly have a deeper understanding of the game. I didn’t even realize Cornelius was playing on the wing for us, but those are the sorts of subtle formation shifts that I often miss. I couldn't get the sound to work (Does "unmute" mean pornsite in Serbian?) but I wouldn't have understood anything anyway. The video quality was excellent. I owe you a beer if our paths ever cross. No worries buddy. I got it from footytube. The serbian feed was one without popups. 😂🤣 no i think the "un-mute" was in English!. 🍻 ahmedou and vancanman 1

Apparently this was their worst performance of all-time 😂 I mean we bullied them from start to finish. They had no chance of getting a result today. They were outclassed. So i understand why an arrogant fan or pundit might feel the way they feel. They were supposed to take over CONCACAF from Mexico. But out of nowhere Canada whom for the majority of the past 20 years played like a minnow has taken over the region. They are back in 2nd spot and unfortunately for them, they have not realised it. They are in Shock. It's going to be interesting what happens once Poch takes over. Corazon and narduch
