narduch
Figure he should have his own thread. AKA Ethan Brown. Born in 2005 in the USA. Believe he qualifies for Canada because of his mom (who was a soccer player too). Signed to Kilmarnock in Scotland. Has 6 U20 caps for Canada and was a stand out in the most recent qualifying tournament. narduch
On Tuesday he played a full 90 for Kilmarnock B in a 4-2 loss to Cowdenbeath in the Challenge Cup. On Thursday (today) he made the bench for Kilmarnock in their Europa League qualifying match against Cercle Brugge. He did not get into the game. shermanator
He played for Kilmarnock B in last year's Challenge Cup as well, and was loaned to Cumnock Juniors in the 6th tier and later to Albion Rovers in the 5th tier. Think he played 10 games with the latter. Not a high level but at his age getting minutes is vital to development. They just signed a left back from Ipswich but before that, the 4 that played against Cercle were the sum total of those listed. It was Brown and two other academy kids (17 & 19) that made up the defenders' part of the bench I assume they would be trying to bring more in. They lost to Cercle Brugge but are still in Europe. They play Tromso (Simon Thomas on the bench there) a week from today in Conference League Third Round Qualifying. blueseeka, narduch, GasPed and 2 others 4
blueseeka
Awesome boys. Was surprised that there wasn't a thread yet when I saw he was on the bench yesterday. Glad it was made ahmedou

VinceA
I'm not a coach so I can't really say what goes through their mind. But like for me, you're getting blown our, and it's the end of the game, why not give a youngster some minutes? Like it won't kill you. costarg and ahmedou 1

He was away for a month, and the team likely did subs with players who will feature against Tromso WestHamCanadianinOxford and ahmedou

It won't kill you - the coach - but you, as a coach, might know that shipping a few more goals might dent a kid's confidence. They didn't bring a defender on at all, it was only him and 17 year old kid on the bench again. ahmedou
narduch
Was an unused sub today in Europa Conference qualifying. His club beat Tromso 1-0 and advance to the final qualifying round. They will face one of Copenhagen (Den) or Banik Ostrava (Cze). Corazon, WestHamCanadianinOxford and ahmedou 2
jordan
Not in the 18 today for the League Cup. Though Findlay was red carded so may see him back on the bench soon. WestHamCanadianinOxford

Isn't this the guy that Kilmarnock called back before the knockout rounds for our U20? That's a pretty ridiculous decision in hindsight. If this ends up leading to him never getting any actual minutes with Kilmarnock I will pray for their downfall as I have done with Dundee since 2015. ahmedou

Probably once they shored up their roster he wasn't needed for the 1st team anymore ahmedou
jordan
They were chasing Europe at the time, doesn’t look like they signed anyone that plays his position, likely will train with Kilmarnock a few times a week still. ahmedou
