rkomar
Maybe they thought Awujo might be too inexperienced for the pressures of the occasion? Give her some time on the bench to soak it all in and then put her into the games.

dyslexic nam
Nice goal - and not really something that would be assisted by drone footage. Canuckia

The drone footage apparently was to show them how not to cross the ball into the box properly for the first 40 minutes of the match. Thankfully that was a great team goal at the end level things. dyslexic nam

Canuckia
2-1 Canada FT Not pretty. But, an important 3 points under a lot of off field pressure. Well done! JamboAl and narduch
jonovision
In the end, NZ did a decent enough job of parking the bus, but on both goals and several other chances the lack of speed from their back line was exposed.
dyslexic nam
Big 3 points. Assuming we keep them. Olympique_de_Marseille and Canuckia

She has been a Sports writer for CBC for a little while now https://www.cbc.ca/sports/author/shireen-ahmed-1.6310115 http://twitter.com/_shireenahmed_ Good editorials and also good on the "human interest" side of sports writing. Normally doesn't really focus on the details of gameplay/tactics in her writing. rkomar, Canuckia and jonovision
