Bigandy Posted August 16 Share Posted August 16 I have updated my depth chart list. Obviously theres some positional debate for a guy like heibert. Theres debates on who is higher between ugbo or bair. All fair criticisms of this list. The general intent of my list is to list the guys who are reasonably around the level of the CMNT and prospects that are on the trajectory to be around that level in a relatively decent time frame. This list doesn't just focus on A team quality but players who are playing at levels that could see them make reasonable jumps in development combined with injuries to allow them for a call up, even as a 26th man or poutine squad. Please let me know who I have missed or if we want to remove guys like priso. He's just been named to team of the tournament for Copa America, while Laryea basically used Copa America to get back up to speed (and did a good job all things considered). Yes the CMNT needs waayy more depth in all areas except striker. However, our euro squad is the deeper of the 2. Both in terms of number of players and quality. The only major outfield players from mls are oso, adekugbe, laryea, shaf, ahmed, miller, and 1 of 17 strikers. None of which are guaranteed starters.
