Forge are very much motivated to win this competition for the 1st time. Especially how they lost it to us in 2021. They got a solid coach with a game plan. I expect an upset over the two legs. No surprises right now.

Kyle ‘Bust’ Bekker is one of the worst players in TFC history. Top 3 for sure. Guy was marketed as some great white hope for TFC in 2013.

11 overrated players vs a well oiled machine that does well in every phase

their passing is with purpose and they defend properly

need to shake it up and make a triple sub at the break...and herdman really needs to wake up and step up tactically because this team is doing nothing and its been that way for a while

kosi thompson should never play another game for the first team of tfc...send him to nextpro usl cpl anywhere far from the first team

He has no choice to play Kosi. Team has no depth. Players can’t play 90 min week in week out. Then you have this competition and leagues cup. Also remember they need to fill the Canada quota. What do you expect?

Starting to wonder how much longer Herdman is going to last. Team is reverting to “pass it to the Italians and let’s hope they get a goal” tactic of last year. Why field such a weakened squad (and with the bare minimum of Canucks) with Etienne Jr (who has underperformed all season) a false 9 when you need a win to turn the season around?

They have a game on Saturday. Team has no depth. What do you want him to do? Run his players to the ground? Bench warmers need to play.

petretta played at cm a couple games back and is miles better than thompson...couldve easily gone with petretta flores centrally and they have tons of wb bernardeschi franklin rutty etienne...

Right so play a player out of position against a well run and motivated Forge side? When your team is in a rough patch, the last thing you want to do is play players out of position. Petretta is already a trash player.

Petretta is a pussy and will get bullied in the midfield. Thompson is mediocre but at least he will fight.

GM Hernandez would get the pink slip before Herdman.  Manning is already a lame duck.

Here’s a hint: they have two more talented Canadians sitting on the bench who don’t regularly start who are more talented than the two outfield Canadians they started in this one, one of whom is more suited to playing as a 9 than Etienne Jr is

JMR is an overhyped 19 year old who is not good enough. I can’t even tell you what this guys position is. Kerr has been a complete ghost for weeks. You would literally be playing down a man against this hungry Forge side. So I don’t really see where you’re coming from. The team has no LEGIT depth.
