It's a fair point, but play the whistle. Look at Ream the other day vs Uruguay. The ref played advantage after whistling dead and reaching into his pocket, and Ream was still there to clear off the line. That's professionalism.

My respect for Argentina is definitely much lower than it was when the match started. You have the ref in your pocket and you are world beaters. Why do you have to play with such cynicism and falsehood? You bring shame to yourself.

I think it will be quite apparent that 1st Copa match vs this Copa match against Argentina, that Canada's play has already matured quite a bit.

 

It's a real step forward.  Huge in fact, the maturity is extremely noticeable.

While the scorelines are identical, this was overall a better game for Canada than the tournament opener, where we were really dependent on some crazy Crepeau saves to keep the deficit at 2.

Great tournament by the MNT.

When the bandwagon empties next week hope there are a few more people behind this national team for the long haul than there were when the tournament started.
