Think its pretty clear to be the standard lineup for us, would be surprising not to be:

-------------------Crepeau--------------------

Johnston --- Bombito --- Cornelius --- Davies

---------------Kone --- Eustaqiao-------------

-------Buchanan --- David --- Millar-----------

---------------------Larin----------------------

No argument from me. Ball players and pace throughout. Excited to see what the group can do.

Just now, BrennanFan said:

Nothing compares to the 6 World Cup games in our history but this is definitely the biggest non-WC game Canada has ever played.  Playing the defending World and Copa Champs in a tournament opener, lining up against the 2nd best player who ever laced up a pair of boots, Wow.  Momentous occasion in our soccer history.

It will be even more momentous if we at least get a draw or a win

If there is ever gonna be a time to park the bus, it's tomorrow.  Throw Miller and Piette in there and hang on til the 70th, then switch to the above.  Argentina will be relaxed and supremely confident, firing on all cylinders with tremendous fan support.

Not to say we can't catch them on a break.  We will get our chances.  My money is on Buchanan having a big tournament.

I just dont see it happening. Marsch wants us to play our game, he's not going to just sit back. Take it to them as much as we can and see where we get, doing so got us a 0-0 draw v France after all.

You're probably right.

At the same time, I have trouble rating this 71K tournament opening sellout, against the best team on the planet, behind a Morocco World Cup match where Canada was already eliminated and fielding reserve players in the starting 11.

Yeah, it was the World Cup, but we were playing for pride at that point, and I suppose our first points in the tournament.

This feels bigger to me.

I definitely agree about parking the bus

LADS ....WITH COMPLETE HONEST ANSWER I WISH FOR MY GRANNY'S GRAVE WE ARGENTINA GET DEFEATED BY CANADA, AND THEN WE GET ELIMINATED IN GROUP STAGE.

IT IS THE BEST FAVOR MESSI AND CO , CAN DO . .

SO THIS PIG'S HEAD GETS TO THE SWORD AND WE CAN RESTORE THE DEMOCRACY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE IN THE HOUSE.

WE DONT NEED ANOTHER SMOKE SCREEN AS WITH THE JUNTA IN 1978.

BEST WISHES AND LUCK FOR TOMORROW NIGHT

Messi agrees with you,  but Diego said that Messi was better than him as it was recorded before his death
